Took my taxes in mid March and was told they would be done by April 15th. After multiple times they said they would call when it was ready, we followed up on April 15th for them to say that they were ready. On April 15th I come to find out they ‘mis-placed’ my W-2. They told me to call end of April if I didn’t hear back. Followed up multiple times throughout April and they kept telling me that it was being processed and would call when it was ready but that it would be done before May 1st. I called April 29th and told them I would like to complete my taxes myself and requested my information back, then was hung up on upon this request. I visited the office the next day just for them to tell me they no longer have my W-2 and that I need to request a new one from my employer. Very bad communication and organization.
Ok experience last year. This year has sucked. Took all my information to them and called after about 6 weeks to see if they were done and said they had missing information? No , they had all that I had. My husband didn’t work for that particular person this year and I had to relate that information to them 3 times and they kept saying thank you , I will let them know….NOT! I will not go there again.
No surprises, just good quality service. This is the first time I've actually used any third party for my taxes, but as my finances are getting more complicated, I find that I'd rather pay a professional to do them. I selected Harrison because they already had high ratings. The fact that they were nearby was just a bonus. I was given a price range for services, which, even at the top side, seemed reasonable and the final cost was within that range. When the service was completed I felt a great relief and was happy to sign and send the completed forms; the envelopes were already addressed and my papers returned in a nice folder. I plan to go with Harrison Tax Services for my future tax needs. Thank you!
Harrison Tax Services did an excellent job on our multi-state taxes. Our taxes were done in record time, for a reasonable cost. While I have had a business relationship with Kirk Harrison for years, this was the first year we used them for our taxes. I would not hesitate to recommend Harrison Tax Services to anyone looking for tax preparation or business accounting. It's nice to do business with a family owned local business. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. Got to love an accounting firm with an office mascot - Goby!
