The food was good. One issue was that it was too crowded. We went after Christmas, and still almost all the tables were reserved. A good thing was that they took our order quickly, and the food was served quickly as well. There were lots of vegetarian options. The momo soup was not that good. They have relatively large portion sizes. They didn’t take tips. Overall, the taste of the other food was good. I didn’t like the atmosphere, but their quick service was top-notch.
Indian restaurant in San Antonio. Ambience is good. Quick checkout process and helpful staff. Open until very late night in the weekends until 12am. Food served hot and fresh. Irani chai was good. Would like to visit again. Have a nice dining while in here.
What a fabulous place! The atmosphere is fun; if you want quiet, this is not your spot. They have Bollywood dancing & singing on the large TV screen. We were the only white people there which tells you everything. You order at the counter and then they deliver to your table. We LOVED the food. Do NOT miss the chai Irani! They clean the tables immediately after patrons leave. Everything was soooo good; too bad I’m from out of town, otherwise this would be a weekly habit. Oh…pay cash and you get a 5% discount!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at home. This restaurant has a special charm you won’t find anywhere else. They even have a beautiful, authentic room in the back where you can sit on the floor and enjoy your meal in true traditional style — such a rare and wonderful touch! Every dish was bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. You can tell the chef puts care into every detail, from the spices to the presentation. The variety of dishes is amazing, the prices are more than fair, and the entire place is spotless. The service was impeccable — quick, attentive, and warm. The owner and staff made me feel comfortable, valued, and truly part of the family. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience that filled both my heart and my stomach. I can’t wait to come back and bring friends so they can feel the same joy I did. Highly recommend to anyone who wants not just great food, but a place that makes you feel special. *** I didn’t even take pictures of the rest of the food. It was so good.
We went there today. Great set up and service was quick and good. We ordered few dishes and all were delicious. They serve only halal food. Very good addition to San Antonio. They also have few branches in Dallas , Houston , and Austin. Prices are reasonable. We got complimentary bun butter. All the pastries look delicious and we ordered few. Will go there again. Keep it up and highly recommended. Owners are Indians and they have a lot of South Indian style dishes as well. They have very nice separate family sitting but it is on the floor level. It will be nice if you can make few spots with regular table and chairs behind the curtain. Not everyone can sit on the floor. Just a suggestion.
