I looked for a vet I trusted for years before finding Hayden Road. I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. Ryan here for nearly 7 years, and he has helped me through it all (multiple surgeries, end of life services, check ups, etc). He is ALWAYS sympathetic, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. I trust him extensively with my pups. One of my dogs needed a very invasive surgery this week and Dr. Ryan was ill that day. Dr. Arnold stepped in to do the surgery in place of Dr. Ryan. I was reeeeally nervous at first about letting anyone else do the surgery, but he answered all my questions and was extremely patient with me. He did such a great job on the procedure and I am so grateful for everything he did for me and my dog that day. Long story short, I recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone looking for a high quality, trustworthy vet.

Needed a new regular medical care relationship for my precious cat. He had cold symptoms that worried me so I booked an appointment. Dr Wayne and Dr Ryan Svoboda are highly skilled with admirable core values, having curated a team that takes great care of their patients. They reviewed previous medical information we were told about our cat which they found to be incorrect and prescribed a treatment program that has him on the mend. The process from start to finish was seamless and I have no reservations about recommending them to anyone that I know.

How do you define “going above and beyond?” 🐾 Here’s what it looks like: Dr. Ryan called in meds to a San Diego pharmacy when our dog Baloo suddenly broke out in a rash while we were on vacation, called in pain meds for Mowgli just yesterday, and even squeezed us in TODAY when Mowgli could hardly walk. This kind of care takes a special human — and the whole team is just as amazing. Thank you for answering my many calls, calling in prescriptions, and even staying on the line with me at the pharmacy. We are so grateful for you loving our pets as much as we do. Highly recommend this team to anyone looking for truly compassionate veterinary care! Extra special thanks from two goodboys - Baloo and Mowgli!

We switched to Hayden Rd Animal Hospital about 2 years ago. We LOVE this place, the Vets, the Staff and the way they communicate is exactly how it should be. They are GOLD standard. We had been with a vet that sold to a large private equity group and the corporate changes were immediate. This was the best move we could have made for our beloved Doberman and Deerhound.
