I haven’t but I’m waiting for the phone line too open so I can volunteer ASAP!! I can’t wait until I speak to someone. I just moved to Texas 2 weeks ago on Friday and my first I thought before boarding my plane ✈️ is I’m going to ride and get involved with horses 🐎 @60
This place has been so transformative since I started taking classes. Even when my accident happened last yer, the staff and volunteers were very supportive in my time of recovery. Very heartfelt and I am beyond grateful for how I've grown with them. Thanks for your services!
HHR is one of the best-run nonprofit organizations I’ve ever experienced. It takes a lot of integrity on top of the sheer work and commitment to do things the right way when both animals and at-risk/extra needs people are involved and it would be easy to cut corners behind the scenes, and HHR does not. Everyone there is actively involved in taking care of the animals, property, and people 24/7 and it’s great to see organizations like this existing and growing in an age where so much is taken advantage of.
The folks at Healing with Horses are amazing. Owners Patty and John and their wonderful staff of therapists and volunteers are solid gold. They have done wonders for our family’s physical and mental development. The horses are so gentle and of course, the key to everything. The property is clean and well taken care of and offers a wide range of riding terrain, regardless of the weather. Thank you all so very much.
This review is for the Healing With Horses Ranch in Manor. The owner and equine therapist Patty is a wonderful, understanding, and dedicated person to work with. The ranch itself is small with I would guess about eight horses, riding trails, a corral, stables, and a barn. The property has a picturesque creek running through it. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a friendly dog named kitty. Parking is no problem here, and the electronic gate opens smoothly when you first arrive. You do have to get out of your car to activate the gate switch, but it closes automatically behind you.
