Sucha great place. Staff was so nice and helpful especially Christina who helped us out a lot! The herbs we bought here were so much better than the ones we had previously bought at homedepot and cheaper too! We would highly recommend this place and will come back for our many gardening needs.
One of our favorite nurseries to visit! Hewitts has such a large variety of indoor and outdoor plants plus super cute pots and indoor decor. They also have a nice selection of rare plants!! We love coming here and just browsing around. Will be there soon to get some annuals for the spring and summer. highly recommend visiting. The staff is always super welcoming and knowledgeable. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It has all the plants nobody has!! My secret place that's not gonna be a secret anymore once this is posted!! The plants are healthy and beautiful! I thought I would never find another good plant place, so glad you exist Hewitt!! Now I have 2 plant shops I trust
I have an incredible individual landscaper and have also grown up around nurseries, so am extremely picky about the variety and quality of plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees. I’ve lived in Nashville for almost twenty years now and Hewitt is the ONLY place where I shop for anything that goes in the dirt. They have an INCREDIBLE variety of trees, including virtually all types native to the area as well as in all stages of maturity (the best anywhere in TN, IMO). Additionally, their working greenhouses are staffed year round with team members who keep the flowers, plants, and succulents healthy and pruned for maximum growth and success when they come home. Their stock and volume of products is ~10x that of other area nurseries as well as those at the big box chain stores, yet the pricing is at or lower than the chain stores while the quality is so much higher. Shop here to get your yard started and you will have less maintenance to do aa time goes on, but I guarantee you that each year you’ll come back to Hewitt just like I do. Also—huge shout out to Luke on their team who went out of his way to juggle multiple tasks to help me with tree selection not because it was his responsibility in that particular moment, but just because he could see I needed help. Seriously, if you’re in Nashville and you need anything for your yard (including installation of trees purchased), head to Hewitt. I don’t know them and didn’t get anything for posting such an effusive review, but it’s natural after completing my annual spring trip to stock up and being reminded of what a blessing it is to have such an incredible nursery with knowledgeable, helpful staff. I can’t recommend them highly enough and hope the family owned business stays thriving and healthy for decades to come!
I have loved visiting this place for years! All of my plants from Hewitts are healthy and gorgeous and prices are fair. I give my family members plants as gifts now and they’re ALL from Hewitts. The staff are kind and knowledgeable and I just love this place. I know I’ll be back next payday 😉
