I brought in two pieces of equipment for repair. A technics turntable, and a Bluesound Vault 2i, understanding that they may not be able to fix the Bluesound, but would certainly have my turntable up and running in no time. When I dropped off my gear, I explained that the only function on the turntable not working was the auto lift and auto return of the tonearm. I also explained that the unit is a Japanese unit and needed the step down transformer for it to work properly. A week later I got a call stating that both pieces of equipment were repaired and ready for pick up. I picked up the gear and tested the bluesound first. To my surprise, it works perfectly. Great job. I then turned to the turntable, and not only was the tonearm not repaired, it it now hesitates when turned on. I brought the turntable back telling them the problem wasn't fixed. It was the that they said they couldn't fix the turnaround because they don't have the part. That should have been said upon discovery. Then they tell me they changed the caps because the speed was running fast. That's when I learned that a step down transformer was not used, and the reason for the irregular speed of the turntable. This was very disappointing to say the least. Next time, check with the owner and let us no you can't fix something, and if your going to do something that you were not asked to do. Two stars, for fixing my bluesound, but not one more star for the poor communication and taking it upon oneself to fix what was not broken.

Frank is the man! I know very little about AV and needed to replace my busted amp, and he walked me through all the ports I would need and got me the best amp for my setup! He did not try to push the more expensive ones on me. Would recommend this place for all your AV needs!

"I strongly advise caution before using this shop. I spent $200 on repairs, yet one amplifier remained broken. When I tried to utilize the 90-day repair warranty, the owner’s was verbally abusive and insisted on additional charges for the same problem. It is my opinion that their business practices are deceptive, as they failed to stand by their initial work. I’m not the only customer who has reported such issues. I will not be returning and suggest looking elsewhere for honest repair work." It was a costly mistake and a waste of time."
