I lucked out in finding these guys to trim and remove my trees. I was going to hire a crew to manually remove my trees (climbing up with chain saws) but had to call the city to turn off the power because the trees were growing in between the power line. The guy from the city came to look, and said, "You know, tree trimmers ought to be able to remove your trees without having to turn the power off." I asked him for a recommend, and he emailed me a list of about 50 companies. I picked 4 at random and called and left messages requesting a bid. Hidden Oak was the first to call me back. They are first rate, with the latest equipment, a digitized estimate system with pictures, and everyone seems very competent. I was afraid that with their fancy equipment and boom lift, they would be expensive but they were cheap. When they took the trees down, I found out why-- park the lift in the street, send the rigger up over my house in a bucket, rigger cuts the trees, which the boom carries back over my house, drops the tree in the street, waiting guys with chain saws carve up the tree, bulldozer sweeps it up and deposits in the waiting bin. Boom. Done. And probably took about 1/3 the time other companies would take. And after they were done with cleanup (very little to clean) the street was immaculate. Pro tip: Dont schedule them on the day your garbage gets picked up as the garbage truck may tangle with their equipment trucks. Pro tip 2: They take credit cards so pay them with your credit card for mileage and loyalty points.

Update 04/08/2021. Hidden Oak has corrected the curbing issue by having it replaced. I appreciate the speed for which they did this this. I have altered the rating to reflect their efforts. Team was scheduled to arrive 8:00-8:30 am. No show and were contacted at 9:00am and they apologized that they needed to change to 12:00-12:30pm and should have called. Then they arrived at 11:00am. Were quick and efficient, but the front loader destroyed the curbing in the yard. This was used to remove branches from last September wind storm, not even the main trees. Was just a pile that the 5 employees could have hand moved rather thay drive over and destroy property.

Changed my review from 1 to 4 stars. ————————————— Original review 10/2020: The tree crew showed No care or respect for property. Extensive damage to yard and sidewalk. These guys used absolutely NO rigging or ropes to lower tree limbs. They just plummeted MASSIVE limbs onto our lawn, sidewalk, and curb/gutter, (which was brand new - the city just repaired it two weeks ago). There are now craters all over our lawn and huge cracks and divots all over our sidewalk and curbs. It seemed like they were just so rushed to get the job done that they just didn’t take the time or care to do things right (by rigging ropes for the branches/limbs to lower them carefully). I’m really upset at how disrespectful of they were of our property and the city’s property.

Hidden Oak tree care removed my many dead and diseased trees. They did a thorough job including stump removal and great cleanup. They were easy to work with, gave me a fair price, and were completely professional. There was never any concern about where the trees would land. They carefully planned each felling cut so that the tree never came close to the fence or anything else it could damage. Care was taken to ensure my other landscaping was not damaged. My hats off to the great crew that came on time and finished quickly. I highly recommend them for tree removal projects.

Ces gars étaient incroyables. Incroyablement rapides et compétents. J'ai reçu un devis de leur part pour l'enlèvement de 3 pins et d'un épicéa géant, et pour redonner vie à mon érable. Leur devis était inférieur à celui de la concurrence. La planification était claire et facile à mettre en place. Le jour de l'enlèvement s'est déroulé sans accroc et le travail a été terminé en environ 4 heures (trois fois plus vite que ce qui m'avait été annoncé par deux autres entreprises). Le travail de nettoyage qu'ils ont effectué était très minutieux. J'apprécie vraiment le temps que l'équipe a consacré au travail ! Mise à jour (5/10/19) : Cela fait maintenant un an et mes arbres sont TOUJOURS abattus ! J'ai été tellement content de les faire revenir pour enlever un arbre dans notre jardin. Ils sont arrivés tôt le matin comme prévu et l'arbre a été enlevé et tout nettoyé en environ 2,5 heures. Ces gars sont rapides et toujours aussi bons qu'avant !
