This is your typical karaoke bar, with a lively crowd of folks who enjoy to sing on the weekends. They have pool tables, dart machines & an atm. They serve pizza and other typical bar food. This place seems a bit rundown and older, but the upside is that it is quite safe and not very rowdy. I wouldn’t say it was bad or great, but rather just a decent little bar to go to if you would like to sing karaoke or just hang out with friends for a few drinks and to play pool. It seems more like a neighborhood bar and there’s nothing wrong with that, however, to me, it was very average. Nonetheless, that is not to say that it’s a bad place. In the end, If you’re in the area and looking for drinks & a place to hang out, give Hidden Tavern a chance. 👍🏽
Good place for karaoke as long as you show up when they have their regular (Mexican) DJ since the other DJ (black guy) sells the “next singer” slot to the highest bidder. I sat here for an hour, checking the list multiple times before he realized that he was recycling singers before he then had the audacity to me to let me know the “price to sing”… No Thanks…. Great spot for regulars… if you can become one. They treat you like an outsider for sure, gotta earn your keep.
Let’s start with the positives: the bartenders? Flawless. Drinks were strong, service was quick, and they had great energy all night. The vibe? Real cute. Big dance floor, good crowd, we were ready to have a good time. Now… let’s talk about that DJ. Karaoke night turned into “The Favorites Show” real quick. We came to sing, not to sit around watching the same three people do their greatest hits marathon. Meanwhile, the rest of us were basically background vocals. We got to sing once. ONCE. If you’re gonna host karaoke, at least pretend to keep it fair. Ain’t nobody got time to be ignored after waiting all night with a Beyoncé-level performance in the chamber. Might swing back for the drinks and the dance floor, but the karaoke setup? Needs a remix. Immediately.
This was mine and my daughters first time going here...service was very slow at the start, but turned out to be great. We had many laughs and tried singing Karaoke. I will definitely come back again!!! Very chill spot, just how I like it. ❤️
Love this karaoke bar! Its such a fun low key spot to come to by yourself or with a friend/friends! They have a few pool tables and lots of seating. I went on a Monday night where they had a $2.50 special on Michelob Ultra! They have trivia nights on Tuesday’s, and I’m sure they have other fun activities the other days of the week. I’ll be coming back when I want to have a drink and listen to people sing or maybe participate myself!
