Had AYCE sushi dinner and was good overall. The service slowed down a bit after the first round but was understandable since every table was taken. Sushi was fresh and the presentation was good. Unlike some of the other AYCE places that offer a few “limited” premium pieces, this place did not offer any. There was nothing fancy about the restaurant but it was spacious and clean.

Headline on the newsflash: Vegetarian options are quality 🤌 I know, I know, people come here for the fish, and trust me, my fish-eating-friends had an insane 5-star experience with the food quality, but I’m here to speak up for the friends who go out and DON’T want to eat fish, maybe for your friends who don’t want to try sushi because of the fish. We chose this place so both my friends and I could have variety, and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole night. Green Giant was the bombest. Fuji Mountain was sweet. Vegetarian Godzilla was spicy and crispy. Bonus to the whole ‘food experience’ the staff were genuinely chill and friendly. In a way that I can’t explain, them alone would make me go back again. (My friends recommend the Mickey Mouse as the must-try for fish people.)

We've tried around 4-5 AYCE sushi places in Reno, and this latest one is our favorite hands down. With the exception of the scallop, all the raw fish were very fresh and did not smell/taste fishy at all, the rice was a very good ratio so they didn't try to make you full with it, and the overall quality of the ingredients were very good. I ordered pretty much all the nigiri available (salmon, roe, unagi, etc) and everything was delectable, but was also quite pleasantly surprised by the vegetable rolls my husband ordered (which I usually judge him for). They don't have the more expensive options (uni, etc) but the price is way worth it, especially if you go during lunch hours. We've definitely found our staple ayce place, and will likely just keep coming back here in the future.

Being someone from Vegas who loves AYCE sushi I wanted to try what many considered the best in Reno. Lunch is 27.99 (Open to 4pm) and Dinner is $35.99 with no difference in menu. Sushi and rolls were good without being outstanding. Rolls are smaller in diameter and longer than other restaurants with 10 pieces. Half rolls are allowed on last order. The appetizers like Yakiton, miso soup, edamame, gyoza were also solid but limited in selection vs others in town I tried. Dessert selection with only ice cream and tempura banana is also limited but good. Servjce was very good. Others have complained about the noise and lines but on a weekday for lunch, there were signs of neither. Definitely would visit if in this part of town but I would disagree that this is the best. Indeed, I would say it’s a half notch below the best in Reno.
