Home Maid Better has been outstanding, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Autumn. We went through multiple cleaners with other companies before finding this locally owned company, and we ran into every issue you can imagine — inconsistency, rushing, things being missed, broken, you name it. Since switching over, we’ve become loyal clients, and Autumn is a big reason why. She is incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about her work. Every time she cleans our home, it feels refreshed and perfectly put together. She notices the little things most people overlook, and she always goes above and beyond. She’s professional, kind, and truly a joy to work with. If you’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in what they do, ask for Autumn. She’s fantastic, and Home Maid Better has earned our trust completely.
Currin was fantastic!! So grateful for her kind and patient heart around my kids! It was great to have the house clean without me doing it!! (This was a postpartum gift and was such a treat to have done!!)
Update: (Currently about a month later and after reading the owner’s response to this review) I spoke with one of the owners, Dan, a day or two after the cleaning and expressed my concerns with the work that was done. I told him that many of the services listed in the description of the move in/out service were not completed, which I was concerned about. During our talk he asked what would make me satisfied with the situation and I said a full or majority refund. In his response below he states that he asked if I would change or update my review. This is not the case… (I would like to make this very clear) from my perspective it seemed as if he would only give me a refund if I removed the review completely. He asked if I received a refund if I’d remove this review to which I said no. I specifically told him that I would, however, update my review to include information saying I was refunded and the issue was resolved but I WOULD NOT REMOVE THE REVIEW COMPLETELY. In his response below he also brings up that a construction crew was working at the house which is true. We had a couple plumbers working in the master bath and on the kitchen sink which should not have gotten in the way of their cleaning. They were able to clean the master bathroom even though the plumbers were supposedly in their way. Not sure how plumbers in the kitchen and bathroom keep you from dusting the blinds or shelves in the living room. The main concern I have is that if you say a service includes certain things I expect those things to be done. It clearly lists on the website that dusting of shelves and blinds is apart of the move in/out service so I’m not sure why that wasn’t even done. Not sure if this hold any weight but I’m not one to write reviews… but this service was bad enough to where I felt like I needed to write my first review. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I was charged $350 for the move in/out service only to find that most of the house was still dirty when I returned. I received a phone call from the company earlier that morning telling me that they were not going to be able to clean baseboards and cabinets due to paint chipping which is understandable. I did not however expect them to completely skip over all the base board and cabinets including the ones that didn’t have paint chipping off, which is what they did. I was also told that the cleaners were unable to get the dirt off the blinds but later tested this for myself and found that the dirt scrubs off easily with a little light scrubbing. I came home to find numerous marks on the walls and woodwork (from the people living here not the cleaners… hopefully) that had not been cleaned off, dust on living room shelves and mantel that the cleaners didn’t even try to clean, a partially cleaned kitchen counter, dirty kitchen appliances, dusty blinds, and dirty baseboards and cabinets Would not recommend this company and would give them a 0/5 stars if I could! Also: Talked to the customer service about the fridge not being cleaned (they didn’t clean the fridge because they ran out of time but they did not charge me for that service which was nice) and then called again a couple more times about 30 min later when I saw the other things that weren’t cleaned and they didn’t answer my calls but they answered my roommate’s call when he tried. Maybe a coincidence… maybe not
