We've been using Houk for over a decade, starting in our previous home and continuing in our current home. They are honest, professional and reliable. Francisco was the technician that most recently serviced our home. He is knowledgeable, very thorough and quite professional. I highly recommend Houk.
Chris was absolutely amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and genuinely nice. During routine maintenance, Chris discovered an issue that had been lingering for years. Thanks to his expertise, instead of replacing the entire system, I only need a single part! He took the time to explain everything in detail and even shared helpful information about air scrubbers that I had no idea even existed for residential units. I’m very impressed with Houk as a company—they truly focus on helping you, not upselling unnecessary products. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, and their annual plan is reasonably priced and worth every penny. Highly recommend Houk and especially Chris for outstanding service!
My AC system was still under warranty through the builder so I reached out and set up service. My master bathroom was not cooling or heating. The technician came out and did confirm my issue and went to the attic and said I have kink in the air flow ducking. Well on his way out of my attic he fell through and damaged my ceiling resulting in huge hole in my daughter’s room. Like seriously that’s the last thing I need. Now I have damaged ceiling on new build home. I understand ppl make mistakes but come on. The technician never apologized for the mistake and all he kept telling me he would reach out to his manager and they would get back with me. Well he never fixed my AC issue and they never reached back out to me for future repairs. Not good experience dealing with HOUK AC repair. Definitely not
My Houk technician today, Armel Paz, was exceptional! He was timely, extremely professional and pleasant, and explained everything he was doing to service my system. He assured me that my system was cleaned & working properly. I really appreciate all the professionals at Houk, the technicians and the office/telephone staff. Houk has been to my house 4 times to address different warranty issues and have always been customer focused, making my comfort a priority. They stand behind their work & are always quick to respond. The technician Charles came to my home and look at my ac system for a quote. He sent the quote the next day. They schedule my appointment for a new system very quick. Charles and another technician came and installed the HVAC system and showed my wife how operate the thermostat on the pad and app. They even left to get cement needed to place under the unit because it's bigger than the old unit. The service Houk provide was great. The will be installing my other unit when it needs replacing.
