Did you get a puppy and then immediately have the worst puppy blues ever because you got no sleep, the puppy was crazy, and turned your life upside down? We did too. I truly can’t say enough about Josh and Kennedy and the impact that they have had on me, my husband, and our black lab. Josh and Kennedy give you the real support and actual feedback you need. After crying about every day and fully regretting getting the cutest puppy, I stumbled across Houston Dogworks on Google. Desperately trying to get our lives back, I called and got to talk to Josh, one of the trainers. He listened to not only me cry but also my puppy crying in the back who refused to be crate trained. We went to Houston Dogworks in hope of just getting him crate trained and potty trained and told ourselves we could figure the rest out in time. Here we are still today, having graduated puppy training and now working in their Obedience Foundations class to get our now 1 year old AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification with hopes of moving into their advanced training courses. If you told me when I got this puppy that not only does my dog walk in a heel on my side, auto sit when I stop walking, does what he’s commanded, and is actually crate trained … I’d probably assume the puppy blues has genuinely made me manic. Josh and Kennedy put the work in to help not only train your dog in a way that fits them but also train you. From puppy work to advanced off leash training, Houston Dogworks will have what you (and your dog) need to actually enjoy all the things that come with having a dog. I feel confident in myself when handling my dog because they not only tell you how to do it, but why you should do it. Josh and Kennedy have so much knowledge and experience that truly set them apart from other “trainers”. They are the real deal and they actually care about you and your dog. Get your life back!! Houston Dogworks has truly made the difference in our life and our dog, let them help you with yours!

Houston DogWorks is amazing, and works too. The owner has expectations of both the dog and the owner, and if you don’t work with your dog it won’t work. Since we started with here our dog has gone from bananas to manageable. Thank you for giving us the tools for success. I highly recommend this place they know what they’re doing!!
