The owner took care of my oven very quickly. He was very polite and respectful. He was extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything that was going on. His price was very reasonable. He fixed the gas oven in about an hour. If you have any appliance issues, call HQ appliance repair.
The owner/technician is very professional, he answered phone, made appointment and arrived on time. He replaced our ice maker and made some repairs to fix damage to refrigerator previously caused by movers. I would definitely recommend HQ for appliance repair work. He is very personable and our dog liked him.
Our dishwasher wouldn't work after serving 30 people for Easter dinner! Yikes! As my previous experience with many appliance repair companies had been poor (they would take a look for a certain charge, then tell me to buy a new appliance), I was cautious and hesitant but the dishes were piled up and we needed help. HQ was here the next day, on time with good communication. They were knowledgeable and thorough and took their time to carefully and thoroughly address the problem, gave us some prevention tips and left the washer in better condition than it was prior to the fail. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Sub-Zero Hero We have a 25 year old Sub-Zero refrigerator which has often needed repairs and replacement parts at great expense. Initially the work was by "accredited" repair services, almost always nationwide franchises employing semi-skilled labor. Consequently, every fix we had was of short benefit and was often followed by some other problem. Finally, we found Mike at HQ appliances and have been extremely impressed by all his work. He has always responded promptly to call out requests, communicating arrival times by text. On different occasions he's had to fix both the Sub-Zero's freezer and refrigerator sections, replacing or, where possible, repairing items that were often damaged or incorrectly installed by prior repair workers. What's unique about Mike is that he doesn't just fix the immediate problem but also carefully seeks its root cause and fixes that as well to prevent recurrence. He's worked previously as a refrigeration engineer in petrochemicals and his skill and experience show. He's a meticulous and careful technician, so although he may spend longer on the repair, his prices are at the lower end of those made by so-called "approved" franchises. After completion, he sends follow up texts to check all is functioning as it should. Mike apparently fixes other domestic appliances, and we would certainly contact him should the need arise but from our repeat experience on our refrigeration equipment, he is outstanding, and we give him the highest possible recommendation
CALL MIKE FIRST…Mike is awesome and I wish I called him first. He’s quick and super reasonable. My Bertazzoni range had 3 burners out and no broiler. A DIFFERENT repair place quoted me $580 PLUS a $180 trip charge just to look at it and give me a quote that it would take 3-4 weeks. Mike fixed it in one week AND my fireplace for $500. Super happy.
