Nice shop and great service. Nice estate pieces if you’re looking for something different and lots of options to order in. Purchase an item 2 days before Christmas and it was in the very next day. They work with local jewelry companies for special orders.
June 2024 I asked Hug Jewelers to remount my diamond. It had the original mounting for 26 yrs. They offered a great price and came highly recommended. Unfortunately it's not been a great experience. 1. They took nearly a month to do it. The only guy who could do it was sick. I know people get sick. I was just surprised that they only have 1 person able to do it. I got no phone calls about the delay. 2. They mounted it in white gold instead of the yellow gold that I originally had. This wasn't ran by me ahead of time. I found out the day I picked it up. I asked why and they said it was standard. This totally changed the look of my diamond which has bothered me ever since. I even took it back to Stafford with my original specs and asked them to confirm my original diamond was on there because it looked so different. 3. And now.. 1 year later one of the prongs is already bent. I looked past the first 2 things that I wasn't happy about.. but now that I'm looking at another repair i feek like my experience warrants a review. They may be cheaper but you get what you pay for.
My husband has been purchasing jewelry here for over 30 years. Every Christmas I receive an unusual or beautiful gem in a handmade setting. It has become the most frequent question I get at the holiday ' let's see the jewels' ! Great, friendly service. A+. Go see them.
I don't share all that many reviews but wanted to leave a 5 star review for Hug Jewelers in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have used Hug for about 35 years. Anytime I have a piece of jewelry that needs a fix, I go to Hug. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the staff could not be more friendly! Most importantly, I trust the experts at Hug to do a great job and I've never been disappointed. I stopped by today with 3 things that needed to be fixed and they fixed 2 of them right on the spot and charged me next to nothing to do so. The other item will be ready in a week. I also spied a ring that I'd love to own--it was just beautiful! I know where my next paycheck will be going!

Affordable, high-quality work from people who seem to truly love what they do. Jade has a great eye for design and I am certain that Hug will be my first choice jeweler for many years to come.
