HVAC in LA installed my new air conditioning and heating system. They did a great job. The head of the company took personal care that everything was done right, and his workers were excellent. Then after the job was completed, he had an independent inspector come over and see that the job was done right. If you need a new air conditioning and heating system, definitely choose HVAC in LA to install it.
I had a water leak in my home that looked like a roofing issue, so I called a roofer first. After searching, he couldn’t find the source and suspected it might be coming from the HVAC system instead. He referred me to HVAC in LA, and I’m glad he did. Their technician arrived super quick, inspected the system, and found the real cause: an old duct that had developed a hole over the years, causing moisture and condensation to get into the house. They repaired the damaged duct, sealed everything properly, and checked for any other weak spots. Their professionalism and ability to diagnose what others couldn’t was extremely impressive. If you’re dealing with a roof leak and have a rooftop A/C like we do, I highly recommend HVAC in LA—they found the issue fast and fixed it right the first time.

Finding an HVAC Contractor that is BOTH EXPERIENCED AND CREATIVE is no easy task. But I found one when I met with and hired Jacob Getter and his team from HVAC IN LA. I had never been happy with the ducted HVAC system that was installed when I built my contemporary house in Venice back in 2015. I had wanted to update and retrofit the first floor units with a new model ductless mini split system that had the latest technology and the ability to control the units with a phone app. Now retrofitting an existing system is no easy task. My old HVAC system had been installed in such a way that it was impossible to modify or service. Before contacting HVAC IN LA I had met with and gotten bids from several other HVAC companies but no one was able to think outside the box and solve the installation problems that the situation required. In addition, the design of my house and my own personal taste required both creative installation solutions, and satisfying my very demanding requirements that the installation to be clean and seamless. Installing a ductless system requires running external lines from an outside condenser into the house in order to connect to the wall mount mini split units. In a retrofit situation like mine that meant opening several walls to make the required connections. Jacob and his team were able remove very small sections of drywall, run the required lines and leave a very small patch and paint repair necessary for my painting contractor. The exterior line sets were installed on an exterior wall using custom metal covers and painted with my choice of color to blend with the house exterior. No other contractor offered this customized solution. See the attached photos A couple of other bits of info: Jacob is not your usual HVAC contractor. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from USC which gives him a greater understanding of the technical requirements of an HVAC installation; he speaks several languages including a Chinese; and he does not only do sales but he gets his hands dirty with his crew and makes sure his systems are installed and setup properly himself. If you are looking for an HVAC contractor that does it all, don’t look further HVAC IN LA should be your choice hands down.
