I have been coming to Hype for over four years now. This is my home away from home and the people feel like close friends. I have a handful of instructors that I typically stick with but every once in a while, my schedule requires me to try out someone new. Last night, I took Colette‘s class for the first time. And damn! What fun! Her style is different from anything I’ve experienced from other instructors at Hype. So glad I mixed it up. I’m a fan, Colette!
Hype is one of the most inclusive workout places I’ve been too! Such a great community and great instructors.
Hype is just the best—friendly, clean, efficient, & zero judgement. My favorite class is Lift, which focuses on strength training with heavy weights. Alyssa & Jesse are my favorite instructors. Alyssa’s teaching style is super informative and her classes are empowering. Jesse makes me laugh so much I can (almost) forget how much he’s kicking my ass. Parking is limited and can be tough, just remember to leave early and read street signs!
Hype is hands down the best fitness studio in LA! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s completely changed my life, both physically and mentally. The vibe is welcoming, body-positive, and an uplifting community. The front desk staff is always so kind and helpful, and the instructors are top-tier. especially Alyssa! I seriously can’t say enough good things about her. She’s the one who introduced me to heavy lifting, and I honestly feel like I owe her so much for that. She helped me build strength, confidence, and a mindset I didn’t know I had in me. I also love taking lift with Jesse and Joe! They push you, hype you up, and make strength training feel empowering, not intimidating. If you’re looking for a community focused gym that uplifts and challenges you, Hype is it!
Hype is such a gem! The instructors are incredible—supportive, motivating, and knowledgeable. The community here is truly inclusive, which makes every visit feel welcoming and fun. I love the variety of classes they offer, from strength training and spin to pilates—there’s always something unique to try. The staff is friendly and attentive, and there’s always a great energy in the studio. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this studio. Given all the options for workout studios, I would still choose Hype. A perfect place to stay active while having fun!
