Delicious NYC style thin pizza. Great sauce. I always order the 13" half pepperoni and half sausage and whole mushrooms drizzled with calabrian chiles. Yum EE 😋 . Sorry the only picture I have is the first time I ordered last year. A must try 👌
Il Rione absolutely lived up to (and exceeded) the hype. I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Marcus, who was fantastic. Attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment I sat down. I was torn between the Green Pie and the Clam Pie, but ultimately went with the clam since it’s a Wednesday-only special. That decision paid off in a big way. The clam pizza completely blew me away. It was perfectly balanced, briny and garlicky without being heavy, with an incredible crust that held everything together beautifully. Easily one of the best clam pies I’ve had. To make the night even better, the couple sitting next to me overheard my indecision and generously let me try a slice of their Green Pie. It was outstanding as well. Fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. Honestly, you can’t go wrong either way. Great food, great people, and an awesome bar experience. Il Rione is the kind of place that reminds you why great pizza is such a joy. I’ll absolutely be back.
Full disclosure--We didn't eat here, right after a 15-mile mountain hike and weren't super hungry or starving, so this review is maybe even significant. Our neighbors told us we should go and try this great pizza place. We are new to Cleveland and have tried four other pizza places. All pretty disappointing. Cut to the chase, I've been on the planet for five decades and have eaten probably 1000 different pizzas. Midwest, West Coast, East Coast. Deep dish, thin crust, NY etc. THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD. HANDS DOWN. Absolutely amazing, deliciousness. It was perfect. Atmosphere was super relaxing and fun, terrific, fresh arugula salad and yummy Malbec to wash it all down. 10/10 perfection
That best New York Style Pizza in Cleveland! No argument. The pizza is absolutely delicious. The sauce, the wine, everything was perfect. The flavors really live up to the hype. The only downside is the wait time, it took us nearly two hours to get in, but honestly, it was worth it. The service felt a bit rushed, though, and we didn’t really get the chance to take our time and enjoy the meal the way we wanted.
I was out in Cleveland performing some autism-friendly music concerts - and a buddy of mine recommended this spot. It was fantastic! Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended if you need a great pie in Cleveland.
