We absolutely love working with Brittany! She has made a huge difference for our family, helping us tackle everything from leash pulling and resource guarding to better diet choices and modifying our behavior in order to keep our dogs calmer. Before we started with her, our dogs would yank us down the street on walks, get jealous and snappy with each other (which had my wife on edge), and had a bunch of other frustrating habits. Now they’re way more manageable, walks are actually enjoyable, and the household tension has dropped dramatically. What stands out most is how knowledgeable and passionate she is—she really understands dog body language and behavior on a deep level. But more than that, she genuinely cares about the dogs and people. Every time I’ve had a question, she’s responded quickly and given clear, practical advice that works. If you’re on the fence about getting help with your dog, go with Brittany. You won’t regret it.

Brittany is truly incredible!! We sent our 11-month-old Golden Retriever, Alfie, to her and could not be happier with the results. Before training, he had zero recall, pulled on leash, and jumped on everyone. Now he listens so well, has amazing off-leash recall, walks beautifully on (and off) leash, and no longer jumps. I was nervous about sending him away for three weeks, but Brittany took such wonderful care of him and kept us updated the entire time. Sending Alfie to her was one of the best decisions we’ve made!! We’ve already recommended her to so many friends and will absolutely be sending our future pups to her as well❤️

Britt has trained all 3 of our huskies! ❤️ From working through reactivity, to obedience and off leash recall, she is just wonderful. We love to travel with our dogs and go on a lot of hikes and adventures, so their training is one of our top priorities. Britt is everything you’d want a trainer to be - compassionate, knowledgeable, honest, patient, and her love for dogs and helping their owners really shows. She’s there every step of the way - always open to share feedback, answer questions, and give advice. And as a bonus, having someone the dogs can stay with while we’re out of town that we trust (and the dogs love) also brings so much peace of mind. I cannot recommend her enough!

We cannot recommend Brittany Straw enough! From the moment our puppy Gambit met Britt he felt at ease with her, she truly is a "dog whisperer." Gambit did a 3 week board and train with In Line K9 Academy and has transformed into the well behaved, happy, confident dog we always dreamed of having. Britt is not only incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior but she is also patient, kind, and truly cares about both the dogs and their families. She also offers a very intimate boarding experience as well, which was another stipulation we were looking for in a trainer! She's amazing!!!

I cannot say enough good things about In-Line K9 Academy and Brittany’s work with my Australian Shepherd, Milo. From day one, the experience has been professional, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. Our first training was a three-week program when Milo was about 1 year and 3 months old, where Brittany worked on reducing his barking, leash pulling, and improving his recall. The progress was noticeable, but what really stood out to me was how Brittany trains - she doesn’t just work with the dog, she educates the owner. I was given clear tools, structure, and guidance so I could continue reinforcing the training at home. More recently, when Milo was 1 year and 10 months old, he stayed at In-Line K9 Academy for boarding while I was away for a few weeks. When I picked him up, he was genuinely happy, calm, and clearly mentally stimulated. It was obvious he had been engaged, exercised, and cared for - not just “watched.” One of my biggest takeaways from working with Brittany is that training is an ongoing process. She provided me with excellent tools and guidance, and that foundation has made a lasting difference for Milo. If you’re looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, ethical, caring, and truly invested in both dogs and their humans, I highly recommend In-Line K9 Academy. Milo and I are so grateful 🤍🐾
