I experienced an extremely disrespectful and condescending conversation with a man named Andrew. The sour tone of his speech and constant contradiction is a true reflection of why we will never book from this place and will be advising others to avoid this place at all costs. I called to enquire about a function where we wished to hire glassware and plates. When I asked about how much the cleaning fee is for plates he said “it depends whether you return them clean, rinsed or dirty”. I asked what the pricing is for those categories and he snapped back with “it’s a Friday afternoon, we are under the pump, I am TRYING to HELP you here, but I’m NOT going to sit here going through 10 different options with you.” I returned explaining that I was only asking as he had offered those options and we need to consider what is economically feasible. For example, if the soiled price is not too bad then we won’t bother with cleaning it and pay a larger fee. As I tried explaining this and how he had clearly contradicted himself by offering 3 options and not providing me with a quote of how much it would be, he sharply interjected and said “double if dirty. That’s it”. I explained again I was only asking as he had offered those options, as we could return them in any state whether it be clean or rinsed or soiled, we simply wanted to get a better idea of whether it would be worth us spending time to clean or spending money for ease of clean up after the function. He repeated once again that he was not going to go through 10 options on a Friday afternoon. Andrew, it was 3. Stop exaggerating. Andrew, your voice was raised and frustrations were heard loud and clear on this side of the call. Your workload is not an excuse to treat anybody the way you did today. It seems with the other reviews this is a pattern in behaviour from you and I really hope others will take this into account and avoid calling this place as I would not take the risk of being verbally berated. Too busy to take a call without an attitude? Don’t take it.
Booked with Andrew for my party. He was friendly, prompt with his responses to my enquiries and most importantly on time. Would highly recommend and will definitely book with Instant Party Hire again. Thanks very much for everything.

After being left without a marquee two days before my event due to another companies incompetence, Andrew and his team came to the rescue and completely saved our event! They squeezed us in to an already busy weekend, setup everything exactly as they said they would and were friendly and so patient with me throughout the whole ordeal. Would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again! Thanks again Andrew and team!
With the weather being so unpredictable we contacted Instant Party Hire, who promptly responded and provided the perfect solution. Everyone commented on the quality of the products we hired; chairs, bar tables, marquee, heaters! Everyone had a great time and the entire event was stress free! So as a host we finally enjoyed our own function without a worry about how comfortable our guests were!
