My wife and I purchased our wedding rings here while we were in the middle of a major weight loss journey. We were very upfront during the buying process and told the salesperson that the rings would eventually need to be resized. We were assured that this would not be an issue and were told the rings came with free resizing. Based on that promise, we moved forward with a custom ring purchase. Fast forward 7 years later — after losing 150 lbs — I returned to the store with the exact ring they sold me, only to be told that they cannot resize it because it’s custom. To make matters worse, I was then quoted a price in the thousands of dollars to have it altered. That is completely unrealistic for us and directly contradicts what we were told at the time of purchase. As a result, I can no longer wear my own wedding ring. A ring that was sold to us with the understanding it would be adjustable as my weight changed is now essentially unusable. Having the ring resized to fit on my wedding finger again was the dream of a lifetime and that bubble has been popped right out of thin air. This has been incredibly disappointing and upsetting, especially considering the emotional significance of a wedding ring. Clear communication and standing behind what is promised to customers should matter — especially for purchases this meaningful. I tried at the store to let them know this and wound up reaching no resolve… they watched me do the walk of shame right out the door with a few “we’re sorry” statements. The worst part is just a few reviews down, someone else complained about the same thing and the company ignored their review. I fear they will ignore mine too. Overall, I would not shop at IDC again unless they rectify this issue.
I’m extremely satisfied in my experience at IDC. Aaron was exactly who I needed to speak to for this really special moment. He has so much knowledge and is like a human robot in the sense that he knows so much about the jewelry business as a whole. He gave me an A1 experience and made me feel extremely special. I’m really peculiar when it comes to specifics and he really took his time with the attention to detail to cater to me. Thank you Aaron for all of your help and helping me create the perfect ring.
My bride to be and I were brought to IDC for their great sales and versatility in making jewelry. We purchased her engagement ring and both of our wedding bands at this store. This ended up being a very stressful and time consuming process. When I bought her engagement ring, it came in yellow gold instead of white gold. It makes sense that this could be an honest mistake, except for the salesman had a text conversation and notes with my request so that oversight was egregious. This caused an additional 6 week delay where I had to pick the ring up the day before moving out of state despite being ordered 3+ months in advance. This completely ruined any plans for my proposal, it doesn’t need to be said but this was disappointing and stressful. We came back as we were given a $250 voucher for our next purchase, a lackluster attempt at appeasing a begrudged customer but still appreciated. We settled on our wedding bands and paid for them the same day. The rings weren’t going to be ready for 4-6 weeks as they needed to be made to our specifications, simple enough. I got mine within that time frame, HOWEVER, my fiancée did not get hers until 12/10/25. For reference, the rings were ordered in the first week of September, so our service level agreement was completely disregarded. All this time, the salesman who worked with us had little to no updates until I called, to which he said the ring maker “lost the order”. I can’t speak to how true that is, but that damaged our rapport greatly. Finally, I called on 12/9 asking where the ring was, as the salesman said we’d have the ring by 12/2 at the latest, where I spoke to the District Manager of Office Operations. This individual was unempathetic and seemed to be oblivious to the situation at hand despite me coming forth with the necessary information. If you’re looking for the short version - I am shocked and appalled by the lack of communication, customer service, and accountability by this location and would advise others to look at other stores.
I worked with my local store, in Gainesville with Rupa. She was able to find the ring I picked out. She had it set aside at the store we were heading near on our way to Orlando, the Millenia location. I walked in, said who I was. Todd warmly greeted me. He showed us the ring I that was waiting for us. It was wonderful, but not the right one for my wife. After patiently working through many similar designs, my wife found the right one. It looked amazing. Todd was so patient and truly made us feel like a part of the family. I know this piece will be passed down to the next generation, in a few decades. Thank you Todd!
My husband purchased a bridal set from idc 34 years ago. Idc has done work on the diamond engagement ring several times over the years ( rebuilt prongs on head of ring.) Recently took the ring in and per their suggestion , they said it needed a whole new head for $350.00. We agreed. They were supposed to call when ready.. didn't. Had to call and it was ready. When my husband went to pick it up, the salesman( his words) said the jeweler took it upon himself to put a white gold head on my yellow gold ring??? What? No one told them to modify my ring of 34 years. THEN the very next day told my sent my husband a picture of supposed old head and said it was already white gold...like I don't know the YELLOW gold ring I've had for 34 years. So insulting. After talking to the manager, come to find out that they didn't even have a yellow gold head and had to be ordered..Definitely was being lied to the intire time. She put the order in to be fixed. About 2 more weeks. Once again did NOT call when ready. Husband brought the ring home. I put it on and it was sooo sharp a could not wear it once again. Had to take it back AGAIN! They did try to make it less treacherous but still not happy with it. I won't ever give them any business. The work done was for a birthday present. Needless to say, International Diamond Center did not live up. We were not compensated at all for the almost 10 hours my husband spent driving back and forth. I would not recommend International Diamond Center to anyone. Just a horrible experience!
