Izakaya Tori is an amazing sushi place located on the western side of Tampa. They have a wide variety of sushi plates ranging from rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and chirashi (they additionally have some ramen options). I ordered the Chirashi bowl which consists of about eight different fish, on top of a bed of rice. It also comes with Miso soup or a salad. Everything is very fresh, colorful, and tasteful. The atmosphere is awesome inside- plenty of seats, clean restrooms, and excellent service! The prices are very reasonable considering it being a sushi place. ~$10-$20 depending on if you get a roll or bowl. Highly recommend the is place if you like sushi and are in Tampa!

Favorite restaurant by far. I always order the same thing, but it's amazing every time. My boyfriend and I get the 'Miso Hot Ramen', Yellowtail Jalapeño Roll and Gyoza. The staff are very friendly. The service is quick and tentative. The atmosphere and vibes of the restaurant are unmatched. The only downside about this place is it is difficult to find parking during the dinner hours. Sometimes we have to park across the street and walk, but it's okay because it is worth it!

Voted Tampa's Best for a reason! Amazing and creative food that just pairs so well together! If there is less than 6 people in your party, get there right when they open. Or reserve a table if you have more than 6. There was a decent amount of people waiting to get in when we left but we were seated right away when we got there with in 30mins of them opening on a Tuesday.

Great food, the sashimi combo was great, kimchi udon was amazing. Great place and cool environment for a date night and great japanese food. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken kaarage and takoyaki! Make sure to get here pretty early...parking was tough 30 minutes after opening. As for wait time to be seated, if you're okay with bar seating, there wasn't a wait at all.

HIGHLY recommend the creamy kimchi shrimp and udon dish. The flavors will melt in your mouth. We got the chicken karrage which was very juicy and the agedashi tofu which was amazing. We also got the mushroom side dish which also tasted great. The Izakaya roll was good too and if you want a little extra kick I would ask for it to be torched a little more. The volcano roll was also ordered but it was just regular for me. The ambience was great and you will love how when you walk in you’ll feel like you’re in Japan.
