Visiting from Arizona. Visited a childhood friend of 50 years, they are members there and there were 3 of us and Sandra took care of us and she was wonderful and made our visit phenomenal!!!! The wine was great and she explained the wines and since it's new for me she was a great help.
We really enjoyed our visit to J Lohr here in SJ. Both the wine and the service was great. They have 2 tasting flights - the summer sipper (I assume it rotates by the season), and one with all big reds. I did the summer sipper flight and enjoyed each wine. I was disappointed to see not a single pinot noir on either of the tasting flights. I did however purchase their 2 pinot noir to take home with me, so tbd on how I like those. J Lohr was a pleasant surprise for us, and we will definitely be back!
Good wine and there's a variety of choices. The staff are really nice too because we came close to closing time but they still accommodated us.
