Janes and Pang Atelier est un lieu d'intérêt et une galerie à Saint-Louis qui propose des cours d'art inspirés de l'histoire de l'art. Guidés par Misa et Jacob, les programmes offrent un enseignement réfléchi dans un cadre accueillant et calme, aidant les artistes curieux à apprendre des techniques, à réfléchir sur leur travail et à poursuivre leur développement créatif personnel. Cet espace favorise une communauté chaleureuse où les artistes locaux peuvent s'épanouir.

Had so much fun taking a drawing course at JPA! Misa and Jacob are great instructors and can really cater to individual needs, and they’ve built such a lovely community. 10/10 recommend :^)

Wow!!! I came to JPA for the Painting 101 course, hoping for an introduction on how to make oil paintings; and instead Jacob & Misa introduced me to oil painting AND blew my mind with new ways of perceiving the world around me. I found it particularly impressive how they were able to teach many of their skills & techniques while weaving them through a foundation in art history. Misa & Jacob continually struck the perfect balance: on the one hand, challenging me to push myself into new places, expressions & understandings; and on the other, jumping in at pivotal moments with guidance, skills and more challenges to move me forward. I left every single class achieving things I didn't know were possible! I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from JPA, and very much appreciate all the effort that Jacob & Misa put into both their classes and into building a community for the arts to thrive in. JPA is such an amazing treasure for this city! My first course, by and far, surpassed all my expectations, and I plan to take many more courses from JPA going forward!

Their courses are creatively designed and reflect a genuine artistic spirit, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and personal connection with art. I’m very grateful to have found JPA! I took both the painting and drawing classes. Even though I wasn’t there long at JPA, I can truly say that both Jacob and Misa are truly compassionate people that genuinely care about my personal growth in art. I was initially burned out and stopped creating art for years. However they inspired me to pick up art again. I like that they created such a welcoming environment where I don’t have to strive for perfectionism. I can express myself that is uniquely me, while enjoying the process of creating art pieces. This experience was worth it, and I’m going to miss coming to JPA.
