Today we had a flat tyre on one of our emergency vehicles. After calling another large tyre service company and being told over the phone they could assist, we arrived only to be advised they couldn’t help until next week. While sitting in their driveway, I phoned JAX Tyres Phillip to confirm whether they handled SG Fleet vehicles. They confirmed they did and told us to bring the vehicle straight over. Despite how busy they clearly were with their day-to-day work, the team showed genuine care and compassion toward emergency services. With only two emergency vehicles operating in Canberra, getting this tyre repaired urgently was critical. The team at JAX Phillip went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. Their professionalism, understanding, and willingness to assist did not go unnoticed. Thank you, JAX Phillip — outstanding service.
I booked my car in twice at JAX Phillip to diagnose an issue with my front left wheel. Both times I was told “there’s nothing wrong,” even though the problem was still clearly there when I drove away. I then took it to another mechanic who found the issue and fixed it within half an hour. Based on my experience, do not use these people for anything mechanical. The workmanship was incompetent and the management were blatant liars
We had both of our cars squeezed in on Christmas Eve, and had them both back within a few hours. Jax do a great job at a reasonable price. Appreciate the team at Jax Phillip!
My car has been here a few different times over the years and it's always been a great experience. Friendly staff, fast service and good communication. Most recently I urgently needed a wheel bearing replaced and so close to Christmas all the mechanics were booked out. However JAX Philip were able to sort me out within two days.
Had a punctured tyre and brought in by just calling to book. Within 45 minutes got everything sorted. The person by the reception was very nice and explained everything that I had asked. Best tyres centre I’ve been to. Also had 4 of my tyres changed with them just a month ago, was very accommodating, efficient and nice to customers. Would rate 10 if I could. Thank you very much.
