10/10 no notes. Staff is responsive to messages, service is top tier, and the pricing is affordable. I needed to re-size my engagement ring and wedding band and did not want to send it off anywhere. Jewelry Repair of Atlanta responded to my late evening message and said they could repair onsite the following day. I also brought my watches to have their batteries replaced and asked about having a custom men's wedding band designed. They took care of everything! I have found my jewelry spot!
They did a great job resizing a family heirloom and cleaning jewelry - my rings look as sparkly as the day I got them. The shop is inside America’s Mart, it’s kind of tricky to get to with parking, security, and navigating the building. But overall worth it - they did the resize and cleaning in under 1 hr, and had reasonable pricing. Thanks!
There wasn't any sort of directory letting you know where they were exactly located, on what floor, or how best to get there. As it turns out it's necessary to register with America's Mart and give them a call in order to schedule an appointment. Knowing this information ahead of time would've saved me so much time. I suppose FAQ sections aren't a thing anymore. Also the older woman with the grey bob at the America's Mart registration counter was particularly rude and dismissive. Instead of recognizing that I was obviously new to the establishment and the process for getting a simple service done, she took it upon herself to act as though I was wasting her time by asking for clarification as to how to find your store. I suppose I was under the false impression that my time and my money was sought after and that a customer, most especially a new customer, deserves to be treated with basic respect. All I needed done was a simple ring resizing. I should've gone with my instincts and gone to Kay jewelers but I deceived myself into believing that my money and time would be better spent among a local establishment. I am steadily learning not to make such a mistake again and so I'd like to extend my humble thanks in reminding me that basic information such as your exact location, the process for getting in, the need for an appointment, and that the staff I must meet before I even meet your staff will be needlessly disrespectful is something reserved for the bourgeois and that I as a simple Atlantan who wants to get his mother's ring resized in time for her birthday isn't worth the time or effort. One thing I will say in favor of major jewelers such as Kay or Jared is that with such a big name generally comes a basic standard of universal quality across franchises. With small or local establishments, the same standard simply does not exist. For evidence of this fact, simply seek out Jewelry Repair fo Atlanta.
Fantastic repair by Oman of my vintage art deco 1930's ring. The band had split. Oman did a superb professional job. The repair is invisible, the entire ring completely polished and perfect, more beautiful than when I purchased it. Excellent pricing. Highly recommended!
