update day 2, more threatening text messages: EDIT: NOW THEY ARE TEXTING ME THREATENING ME, over my true and accurate experience, see pictures of their text messages. I hired this company February of 2025, we bought a house with a pool and we were still living out of the country, they knew and said no problem they started clean our pool on 2/24/25, by April 1st my pool looked like a swamp and the water was low it was down past the 2nd step.i called them, filled out their form on their website and txt them for 4 days. No response. They did not have my husband's phone number so i had him call. They txt him back right away. Then stop responding to him once they found out who he was. I could see and hear everytime they came to my house because we have a ring that recorded everything. I notice now reading through comments that J's pool blame their poor service on people for non payment. Our payments were auto drafted out of our account. Not only did they not take care of our pool, but on April 9th a different person showed up at our house I spoke to the gentleman through the ring and asked him to call me. J'S gave our contract to a different pool company Gleaming pools. I had to find out from the new company. No doubt Gleaming pools took care of us and has done a fantastic job, but J's still took out money out of our accounts and did not give the money to Gleaming pools. I am still dispute charges with the bank because they charged for April, for zero service and then they charged and additional 250.00 at the end of April because I disputed the charges with the bank. I have all their voice mails, txt messages, emails, and recored every threatening phone conversations. They also could not keep employees due to the fact they would not pay the employees. This is a very bad company.

We had such a terrible experience. We contracted with J's Pool and Spas for the great reviews. They immediately subcontracted out the work. We had a heater installed by a separate contractor. When the header would not work, it was insisted that we needed to upgrade our gas. I requested a second opinion from J's Pools & Spas and they never came. After paying for a plumber and plumbing upgrade, it still did not work. It took 3 weeks to even come to a resolution after I relentlessly called them and requested help. It turned out it was a faulty unit from the beginning. They are not even fixing it themselves. Jandy's reps will be taking over the job, who knows what that will require. Huge headache for months. I gave J's Pool and Spas ample opportunities to make it right and they did nothing.

“We used this company in the past, but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We noticed unprofessional behavior from the start, with the technician being arrogant and aggressive. The final straw was during a scheduled pool cleaning, when he was openly making out with his partner instead of focusing on the job. We ultimately decided to switch to a more professional pool service in the area. Since posting this, they have accused me of posting a fake review. But this is our true experience. After leaving my initial review, I even received a phone call from them, where I was threatened for speaking out. Update: The harassment has continued, with further accusations and gaslighting attempts. There’s no reason I would “troll” a business without reason. This was simply a case of poor, unprofessional service that left us unsatisfied.” Please stop harassment.

Justin was amazing! He reprogrammed our system to again connect the equipment and phone app. He was responsive, educational and drove from Katy to Galveston to help us. He came back a third time to clean the filters and ensure everything was working properly! Justin went to bat for us with Hayward to replace the brain of the computer at no charge to us. Thank you Justin!!
