I can’t recommend Jean Claude at K-9IQ enough. He took the time to understand our dogs's personality and tailored the training to get results which we saw in one session. We own a very stubborn, aloof breed of dog so we were particularly impressed. Jean Claude is calm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable — you can tell he genuinely cares about both the dog and the owner learning together. In just a one sessions, we saw huge improvements in our dog’s focus and behaviour. He also took the time to check in to see how our dog was after the session, which shows not only his dedication, but care. If you want someone who knows exactly how to bring out the best in your dog, I highly recommend Jean Claude.
I can’t recommend Jean highly enough! My 6-month-old Belgian Malinois was full of energy, incredibly smart, and, honestly, a bit of a handful before we started working with Jean. From the very first session, it was clear that Jean understands not just dog behavior, but also how to communicate effectively with both dogs and their owners. Jean’s calm, confident approach immediately earned my pup’s respect and trust. He tailored the training to fit my dog’s breed-specific needs—focusing on impulse control, obedience, and mental stimulation—all while keeping the sessions positive and engaging. I’ve seen a huge transformation in my dog’s behavior: she’s more focused, responsive, and manageable, both at home and in public settings. What I appreciate most is that Jean didn’t just "train my dog"—he taught me how to be a better handler and leader. His clear explanations, patience, and ongoing support made the entire process enjoyable and empowering. I have also learnt alot about myself in this whole process. Funnily enough i also work well with structure and impulse control. If you’re looking for a professional who truly cares about the long-term well-being and success of your dog, Jean is the trainer to call.
Amazing. So so so happy with this service. Claude is very knowledgeable and an excellent trainer. He was very clear with all his instructions. Our youngest dog is very hyper and has been a hard dog for us to train and I was shocked at how quickly Claude was able to train her. In just two hours of him showing us simples tools to help with her behaviour has been amazing, she is such a different dog already. We can’t wait to see what she and our other dog is like in months to come. I would absolutely recommend Claude to anyone I know.
AMAZING! My family & I are so grateful we got Jean Claude to help us with our German Shepherd, Kobe. I really wish we got Claude earlier, as his knowledge, approach, professionalism, training methods and advice was genuinely second to none. His training techniques were so clear and easy to follow and we could not believe how effective they were, after one session! We are already seeing such a difference, after only 1 week! Claude est venu nous aider à démarrer avec notre chiot border collie de 9 semaines, et nous ne pouvons pas le remercier assez. Les 3 heures passées ensemble en valaient vraiment la peine et le coût était raisonnable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié qu'il explique sa philosophie d'entraînement pour nous assurer que nous étions sur la même longueur d'onde, et il a proposé d'ajuster l'approche s'il y avait quelque chose avec lequel nous ne nous sentions pas à l'aise (nous n'avons rien changé, mais nous avons apprécié sa flexibilité et sa considération). Après avoir passé la matinée avec Claude, nous nous sentons incroyablement bien préparés à entraîner notre chiot et à lui donner un excellent départ dans la vie, à renforcer sa confiance et à le désensibiliser aux nouveaux bruits et à la manipulation. Il est vraiment un expert et a fait toute la différence pour nous. Merci, Claude !
