Best coffee in town, and it's not even close. I've been counting the days until this location opened, and it was worth the wait. Go in there order an iced carmella latte with whole milk, and you can thank me later.
My first time at Kanela and everything was superb. Easily one of the best coffees in town. The latte was bold with the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor, and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. Customer service was exceptional from start to finish. The space itself is beautiful, with a cozy yet upscale vibe. A great local coffee shop that truly holds its own against the big chains.
It's a cute little space. Love the layout and lots of the design elements. I think Kanela really shines in the blended and sweet drink category. They're unapologetic about that and true to their slogan, "smoothies, coffee, and bites" It's not your specialty/third wave kind of place if that's what you're looking for. Good place with great values!
