I was very happy with my hair on my wedding day — it was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The stylist really nailed my vision, and my hair held up wonderfully throughout the day. That part of the experience was great and made me feel special as the bride. However, there were some issues with the makeup and hair for my bridal party. Several members of my bridal party showed example photos of the hairstyles they wanted, but their hair ended up looking quite different from the reference pictures they provided, which was disappointing. If the stylist couldn't do what they showed, I wish they would have communicated them, and that would have been fine. Additionally, there were concerns with the makeup, specifically foundation shades. Three people, including myself, noticed that their foundation appeared extremely yellow. As the bride, this was especially upsetting because it didn’t make me feel confident on such an important day. This was surprising to me because during my makeup trial, I didn’t notice my makeup looking overly yellow, so I wasn’t expecting this issue. I also noticed that the eyeshadow primer didn't work too well - the eyeshadow was creased within a few hours after they applied my makeup - which never happens to me with the eye primer I use at home. Before I left the studio, I also noticed that the mascara was already leaving black marks underneath my eyes, which doesn't usually happen to me either. I didn't feel like the makeup was high quality/longlasting. Overall, while my hair turned out exactly how I hoped, the inconsistencies with bridal party styling and foundation matching took away from the experience. With more attention to reference photos and color matching, this studio could provide a much stronger and more consistent service. I reached out to the business owner about my concerns, and she was really polite and offered a free facial, which I appreciated.
I hired Karina for my wedding and couldn't be any happier with her skills and service ! From my trail to day of service , everything was absolutely flawless. For my trail she listened to my vision of wanting a natural look but making it bridal. I'm not much of a makeup person but she made me feel confident and beautiful. She enhanced my natural beauty and it was perfect! Paola who did my hair was AMAZING !! Although I did two trials with her because I couldn't decide what I wanted , she was patient and gave me my dream bohemian hairstyle. On my wedding day, Karina and her team were professional and made all my bridal party feel extremely beautiful and comfortable! My family and friends couldn't stop talking about how wonderful their experience was with the staff memeber they were paired with ! I cannot recommend Karina Romero Beauty enough !! They are extremely talented , professional, and have great personalities that made our pre-wedding hours day fun and special.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Karina and Alejandra for my wedding hair and makeup. They are the sweetest team and Karina has the best eye for makeup and what works for you. On wedding day the morning was so fun! My bridal party went in saying to do whatever she believes would be best for them and it was the best outcome. Everyone loved their hair and makeup so much and they all looked stunning. As the bride I also said to do what would make me look best and I have never felt more pretty. The makeup lasted all day and my hair also lasted even through the rain, humidity and sweat. My entire bridal party looked so good and felt great. Highly recommend coming to Karina and Alejandra for the best outcomes. Thanks for making my day so special.
For my wedding Karina and her team worked so hard to make me and my bridal party of 11 women look incredible! The gave us the best glam of our lives. I felt so beautiful, and supported by Karina through out the hair and makeup trial until the wedding day. She was so good at coordinating and communicating before the wedding. The day of, her team ran the session so smoothly and they had great vibes the whole 6 hours at the hotel. Our hair and makeup stayed put and looked incredible the whole night long. I’m so happy I found Karina. She also provides amazing facial services that are relaxing and made my skin look beautiful for my bachelorette trip and my wedding day. I’ll definitely go back for facials and any special makeup services I need.
I had never enjoyed getting my makeup done this much! I’m usually not a makeup person at all, but she made me feel so comfortable and confident. She told me not to look in the mirror and said, “just wait until you’re all done — you’ll see the magic.” And wow, she was right! When I finally saw myself, I was like: who is this goddess?! We finished right on time, and she even had time to do my mom’s makeup and my aunt’s hair. I love how she describes herself as “the friend who brings out the best version of you” — because that’s exactly what she does. Her energy, speed, and talent are unmatched. You walk out of her chair feeling absolutely fabulous. 💖
