This place is the most incredible spot I've been to in Nashville. This is every bit the taste of Japan I hoped it would be. I went to Japan last year and needed to be reminded of how good sushi can be, and Kase didn't disappoint. As for the service - unrivaled. Junior was top notch. If I could have him be my chef/server at every restaurant I go to, I would. Thank you for what you do!

This was the only time in my life that food has been so good, so…transcendent, that it evoked actual involuntary tears from my eyes. I’m not kidding. I was in the middle of eating the 5th roll of the set and my wife turns to me and asks, “Are you crying?” As I lifted my hand to my face and felt the evidence for myself, I knew I was in the middle of something extraordinary. I was. I was crying. I was crying tears of joy from the delight dancing on my taste buds, and I was also crying tears of anger. I was angry for all the years I had been derived of the glory of all that food could be. So in a sense, I am now both indebted to Kase for opening up my eyes to what is possible, and riddled with rage for all the meals I now know will never compare. Whether you like fish or not, just go. Open your mind to the possibility that right here in land-locked Tennessee, your palette will be expounded in wonder as you behold the magic of omakase delighting your senses. I’ve now been humbled with the privilege of eating here on three separate occasions and as someone who loves to eat out, I have to say, there is no other experience in Nashville like it. From the atmosphere, to the service, to every drink and dish we have ever been served in our times here, Kase is, well…faultless. I suppose it’s only room for improvement is somehow becoming easier to book so that I might dine here more often. But with the level of creativity, professionalism, and care the staff are bringing every night, I doubt that wish will come true any time soon. Whatever you can do to experience this wondrous dining experience, I recommend you do it. No seriously. Go. Book it. Now.

Came for my cousin’s birthday and had a great time! Everything was delicious but my favorites were #7 and #9! We ordered a few cocktails, and I really enjoyed the “omg he has a boat”. The staff was all super friendly, and we even got to meet Wilson, one of the founders, who was very friendly and attentive. Our star was our sushi chef James though! He was serving it up while chatting and was just an overall great vibe. We will definitely be coming again!! (Can’t wait until James gets his own funko pop!)

I understand the hype. It’s worth every ounce of hype. I can’t believe how incredible that whole experience was. The drinks, the food, the ambiance, and even the playlist were perfection. I was the perfect level of full and the pacing was perfect. I got the “OMG he has a Boat!” Cocktail and it was sweet but so refreshing. My sister got the Sneaky Mexico Vacation and loved it. The waitress was super helpful and even recommended a sake pairing for my brother in law. The fish was so fresh and the flavors were so incredibly rich and round. Between each bite, they have fresh ginger to cleanse your palette. Some of the bites were so good that they gave me full body goosebumps. I can’t wait to go back.

I was very happy that a seat opened up during my brief trip to Nashville. It was definitely the highlight! The omakase experience flowed well, the quantity of food was just right and well-timed, the presentation was fun and informative, the service was thoughtful and attentive, and every detail was intentional. From regularly replacing our hand wipes, replenishing the palate-cleansing ginger bites, and ensuring we always had what we wanted to drink, the service was great. I got a call the next day to say thanks for coming. Even using the bathroom was a fun experience with the Japanese toilet with full remote menu and heated seat! The ambiance and decor also went along well with the experience. I enjoyed every bite of this menu and would do it again. I might learn a bit about sake first since I didn’t know what to order there and stuck to cocktails.
