There are not enough words to explain how genuine and passionate Kauri is! If you want somebody reliable, down to earth, and true art then she is your girl. I had an image and kauri went above and beyond that! All of my bridesmaids and myself enjoyed her company, the conversations, the laughs, jokes and vibes she brings is unforgettable. An extraordinary person I am so glad to have met❤️
I cannot recommend Kauri enough. As a wedding planner I have worked with countless hair and makeup artists and she is the best. I got married this past November (on Kauri's birthday, I still can't believe she was willing to work). She was such a fun personality to add to the group and made the whole morning such a breeze. Definitely book a preview with her that way you can go into the day confident in your style decision and don't need to stress if you will like it or not. Alex did our makeup and he was equally incredible. I was more picky on my makeup as I didn't want a heavy look and he nailed it.
If you’re a soon-to-be bride getting married in the RI area, DO NOT hesitate to book Kauri. I got married in October 2025, and one of the highlights of my wedding experience was working with her. I was pretty indecisive about what I wanted for my wedding day hair, and Kauri made the decision-making process so much easier—simply by seeing how talented she was at my first trial and how kind she was in welcoming me back for a second trial. Not only is she an insanely talented hairstylist, but she’s also just an all-around fantastic person to spend your wedding morning with. My bridal party couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful their hair looked and how much fun they had getting to know Kauri. The getting-ready moments before your wedding are so special and intimate, so choosing the right vendors to be part of that time is crucial. Kauri and her team are the perfect choice for beautiful services and a beautiful experience overall.
We got married this past May at the Cathedral of Saints Peter & Paul, with our reception at The Graduate in Providence, RI. With a large wedding party, we hired multiple hair and makeup vendors - one of them being Kauri and Co. Kauri and her team were phenomenal! I especially want to shout out Kauri, who did my hair. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. The moment I saw my wedding hair, I burst into tears. We had decided to go with a completely different style than the one we tried during my trial, and Kauri executed it flawlessly on the spot. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and flexible, always open to changes and offering thoughtful guidance. I am so grateful I hired Kauri for my wedding day. She was worth every single penny! P.S., sorry this review is a bit late! Life got busy after the honeymoon, but we didn’t want to miss the chance to thank Kauri and her team for everything they did to make our day amazing. Thank you, Kauri and Co.!
Working with Kauri was one of the absolute highlights of my wedding experience! She is beyond talented, kind, and professional, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. After my first trial, I realized the style I had chosen (based on an inspiration photo) just didn’t suit me personally. When I went back for a second trial, Kauri listened so thoughtfully to my feedback, even though I probably didn’t describe everything perfectly, and somehow translated my thoughts into the exact look I had been dreaming of. She absolutely nailed it! Her expertise and eye for detail are unmatched, and she truly knows how to make each hairstyle complement the person wearing it. On the wedding day, Kauri and her talented assistant styled all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. Every single person looked stunning — genuinely the most beautiful I had ever seen them. Both moms said they got exactly the style they had envisioned, and everyone’s hair held up all day and night through photos, dancing, and happy tears. Kauri even sent me off with a touch-up kit (which I didn’t end up needing because my hair stayed flawless the entire day). She also did my hair for our rehearsal dinner, and it was hands-down the best updo I’ve ever had. I got so many compliments! Beyond her incredible talent, what really sets Kauri apart is her warmth and genuine care. She’s not only a stylist but a calming, uplifting presence. She made me feel completely at ease the morning of my wedding and was so communicative and organized throughout the entire process. By the end, I truly felt like I had gained a friend. If you’re looking for someone who is not only exceptionally skilled but also kind, personable, and invested in making your day perfect — Kauri is the one. 💕
