I highly recommend Kay's Furniture Repair in Redwood City! They picked up, repaired the broken reclining mechanism and returned my 2004 Mission Style Barcalounger in less than 2 weeks. I did not need a quick repair. I am so happy with the special care in handling and the quality workmanship by Saul and the team at Kay's Furniture Repair. It now has Zero squeeks and works perfectly. Its like brand new again! And their price was fair in my opinion. And shout out to Michelle at Sterling Upholstery in Mountain View for recommending Kay's Furniture Repair. Michelle's team re-stuffed and polished the leather of both my well worn recliner seat cushions. They are now better than new!
We had a wonderful experience with Kay's Furniture Repair. They were responsive, high integrity and did excellent work at a reasonable price. They worked on four projects for us, all involving vintage pieces and were able to repair my grandfather's desk in the most thorough way that no one had ever done previously. We were so amazed and happy with their workmanship. We look forward to using them again.
We have a new person starting in our company and sadly they are getting an old desk (still a great and functional desk but we wanted something nice for our new person). It needed some TLC and general repairs. There was a large gouge and several nicks and scratches. Kay's Furniture team came in and in less than two hours made the desk look like new again. They were reasonably priced - much better than several others we called and they were willing to work on site! They followed the Covid protocols and their team was very nice and professional. I would use them again for sure!
Love this company! Highly recommend. I was apprehensive about finding someone to fix my couch which suddenly developed a sagging dip after only one year of normal use. It was just days past the manufacturer's warranty which was so frustrating but Kay's Furniture Repair turned my negative into a positive. They were so quick to respond, they picked up, fully repaired and delivered my couch back to me in perfect condition in only 2 days! I know if I had tried to fight with the manufacturer about getting them to help me or if I had tried to do it myself the whole process would have been a struggle. So glad I went with Kay's. Kind, courteous, careful work that is reasonably priced. So grateful for them! Thank you Kay's!
I needed to get my chairs fixed for years! I made the choice to try Kay's because they were quick to respond with a quote and readily answered all my questions. It was the best decision I made! They replaced all the seat is my four chairs, painted the frames and kept me updated with every step. I love to support local small businesses and this company is great.
