I have worked with Chelsea on tax forecasting / tax filing and Landon for financial planning related to an IPO. I have high opinions of their service and would recommend. IPO's specifically introduce complications that I did not feel more generalist tax filing services could handle. Their flat fee model also means they're not motivated to upsell you on steep fees for managing funds / etc. I get the impression the staff are seasoned professionals and genuinely trying to provide help (e.g. relatively conservative investing advice, practical considerations related to the stress of liquidity events, etc). I'm not sure their services are needed for basic tax filings or financial planning, but certainly if you are exercising stock and dealing with AMT or your company is having an IPO - I would recommend for the deep expertise in those domains!

I found their advice for equity-compensated employees at pre-IPO companies to be really excellent. They helped me avoid some foolish decisions and unwind my company equity while minimizing my taxes. Highly recommended!

I have been working with Jackie, Chelsea, and the team at KB Advisors for several years now and would highly recommend their services! I first started working with Jackie to better understand stock options that I had been awarded from my tech company, and she helped to ensure I got the most value as the company went through an IPO and acquisition. When I was getting married, I reached out to Chelsea & Jackie to understand how filing jointly could help save money on taxes, and my partner & I ended up getting legally married before our larger celebration to save some money.
