I tried this bowling alley because it’s close to my new place, and I really wanted to like it, but I won’t be returning. I’ve never had such a frustrating experience at a bowling alley. First off, the staff was incredibly rude. There were two employees working, and neither of them seemed to care about customer service at all. They were dismissive and not at all helpful when we tried to explain the issues we were having with the lane and scoring. Speaking of which, the lanes themselves were a mess. We played two games with six people, and we had to reset the pins constantly. The balls wouldn’t come back after our turns, and the scoring system was completely out of whack—it would count strikes and spares randomly, even when we didn’t get them! That made the whole experience frustrating and, honestly, pretty pointless. We didn’t pay $100 to deal with constant technical problems. When we told the staff about the issues, they didn’t care. They just reset the frame and shrugged it off, saying “it is what it is.” No effort to make things right or even acknowledge how annoying this was. And when we asked to switch lanes—there were at least 14 open lanes at the time—they refused, saying they were “about to fill up.” Well, an hour and a half later, they never did. Just lazy excuses. The worst part was when we asked to use bumpers for my niece, who has a disability. The woman at the counter rolled her eyes and told us that kids over a certain height weren’t allowed bumpers, pointing to a sign by the door. My niece is visibly disabled, and we tried to explain that we didn’t use the bumpers in the first round, but were asking for them in the second to make the game more fun for her. She did allow the bumpers for both kids under 10. It was completely disrespectful and heartbreaking. She rolled her eyes at a 8 year old disabled girl. That is WILD. This was a waste of time and money, and honestly, we should be credited for all the trouble. Absolutely disgusted by the way the staff treated us. This place is supposed to be fun, but it was a nightmare. The only fun we had was leaving and questioning what just happened the last 2 hours of being there. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of better options around.
Took the family Cosmic Bowling Saturday Night. Was greeted right off the bat rudely from i'm guessing the manager. We had to go back up to get shoes and the Police officer on duty in charge of getting the shoes was a jerk. I do a lot of reviews and customer service keeps me coming back. Rarely ever do I leave a negative review but it warranted it this time. Our ball on lane 19 kept getting stuck and the score board kept malfunctioning. Other than that it was a good time.
We went to KC Bowl for a little Sunday date and had a nice time. Friendly staff and very clean with automatic score keeping. 1 game for 2 with shoe rentals was less than $20. A great family friendly place for some good simple fun. And as an added bonus they have a wide variety of food and drinks available.
Son and i decided to come here to have some time as my wife and daughter were attending a ballet. Clean place and friendly staff. Very up to date scoring system. I did notice one could preset certain bowlers to have bumpers when their turn was up. They also have the ball slide for young children as well.
