I enrolled my pup, Otis, in the KC Dawgz 4-week day training program, and the transformation has been amazing. Thanks to Richard’s training, Otis can confidently walk on a loose leash in a proper “heel,” hold a place command, and greet new people politely. He has stopped jumping when overly excited which has been a game changer for daily life. Richard was knowledgeable, patient, and very clear in explaining the training so we could maintain these results at home. The program didn’t just train Otis - it gave me the tools and confidence to be better dog owner. These days, Otis spends his mornings as a canine creative, and his evenings playing and training with his best pal, Sully - living his best (and much better-behaved) life. I highly recommend KC Dawgz Academy to anyone looking for real, lasting results.

We did the fun agility classes with my couch dog, Bill…and absolutely had a blast. Regan and Kenna were very professional and you can tell just how much they care about all the dogs! It’s such a good activity for any dog and owner to participate in and not intimidating at all. Would highly recommend!

We had a great experience with puppy private training! We did 8 weeks of 30 minute classes once a week. Kenna was amazing and she helped us learn how to train a puppy! Honestly it was more for us than him (neither me nor my partner knew how to train a puppy). She gave us the skills and knowledge we needed to work on training him! We are in day training now - I would recommend it to anyone who just got a puppy! We even went to Suburban and Kenna taught us how to help a puppy navigate the real world haha!

We had the best experience in our Puppy 101 class with trainers Kenna and Bella! Our dog Sully loved going each week, and we learned so many valuable tools that have made a huge difference in his training. Highly recommend this class to any new puppy owners! We are excited to start Puppy 201!

We just got our 90lb and 10-month old black lab, Goose, back from the 3-week board and train program with KC Dawgz and can not say enough good things about our experience. We got the opportunity to work with Regan and she did a wonderful job training him. Before training, Goose was a huge puppy, unaware of how big he was, with too much energy that he didn’t understand how to manage. Now, he knows his basic sit/stay commands, recall, has wonderful manners walking on a leash with a stroller, coming in and out of spaces without running us over, knowing his “place” command and maintaining it until told otherwise, and Regan even worked on useful commands to utilize when he will be duck hunting out in the field. He came back home well socialized in a variety of different situations and can sit well in the car without stepping all over the car seat in our back seat. He even has been calm when kenneled rather than the constant barking that occurred before. Regan kept us well updated via text during his time at training. We were able to do a “learning visit” after two weeks of training and a go-home lesson at the end of training where my husband and I were also trained to use the commands and tools he had been learning with. Now that Goose is home, we feel confidently equipped with the knowledge to maintain what he has learned and our home is much calmer and more enjoyable now that he understands what is being asked of him!
