This small plant shop is a hidden gem for plant collectors! They always have an amazing variety of healthy, unique plants — the kind you don’t usually find at big box stores. Prices are pretty competitive although depending on the species may not be as low as the ones you find at Whole Foods, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. However, this con is well outweighed by the quality selection and care of the plants. Plant enthusiasts like me who have unfortunately experienced mealybug or spider mite infestations after purchasing from big box stores know to look very meticulously when thinking about bringing in a new plant into the home. Each plant here been pest-free. You can tell Kelley is really invested in his plants. Because it’s a small, independently owned business, their hours can sometimes be a little irregular, so it’s a good idea to call ahead before visiting. But it’s absolutely worth the trip — the selection and quality are outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone who loves rare or well-kept plants! Kelley also takes requests for specific plants if there’s something that isn’t in the store.

This was by far the worst customer service experience I have had. The employee, a young man with curly hair and glasses, seemed disinterested and unwilling to assist my grandmother and I. We were unsure if he was being discriminatory or simply careless in his job. It was disappointing to see someone work in such a beautiful environment and yet have such a negative attitude. When we first entered Kelly Gardens, the young man did not even greet us. We had to initiate the conversation and only then did he respond. We found a beautiful snake plant that was exactly what we were looking for, but there was no price listed. When we asked for help, the employee just laughed and said he couldn't assist us if there was no price. Even when my grandmother asked him to check for the price, he refused and we were left to search for plants on our own. We had high hopes for this store based on its positive reviews, but unfortunately, our visit was a complete disappointment and waste of time. I Will let others know how Terrible our experience was. It was almost as if We were disturbing Him From whatever he was doing prior to our visit.

I came acoss this shop at a popup in fell point, i got a venus fly trap that has grown immensely. So i had to get to the shop and see what all they had🤩🤩. Soo many plants right in the heart of fell point. A hidden gem, make sure you stop in and check out the inventory, always great a gift for yourself or maybe someone else.

My favorite plant came from this store. It is a super bushy, healthy, Pothos plant in a hanging pot (on the right side of this frame). In addition, the staff have offered me helpful advice and tips to help my plants thrive when I ask. Whenever I walk in, the atmosphere is very beautiful and calming, and I walk out a happier person.
