I took my daughter here a day before her prom for a wax and facial.. my daughter experienced bumps and tenderness a few hours after leaving. Her facial was over so fast and was only 2 steps. When I take my daughter to our local Spa it’s about 7-9 steps plus a little massage of the neck and shoulders. My daughter was disappointed to say the lease. Two days after I called Key to let her know what my daughter was experiencing and to ask why did her skin on her face break out a day after the facial and the owner Key was extremely rude and unprofessional she then posted a picture of me and my daughter on her instagram talking badly about my daughter skin. She even posted my daughter’s baby pictures to claim that she has eczema since a baby when in fact my daughter does not have eczema. My daughter then got teased for her prom pics….this Spa was a nightmare
Went and got serviced by Kaye and I’ll definitely be a regular! I even told her, “thank you for being here for the cry babies like me!” That’s how much care she puts into her craft! Felt like home, everything was straight to the point after I specified how I felt about waxing after giving birth. I appreciate her care and her instruction so much! First time in my life I didn’t share a tear while waxing! I went in, asked to use the restroom after a drive and there was a little cubby to freshen up before your wax, should you need, with feminine hygiene products.
I've never appreciated the quality of the work. I regularly found myself with bumps and tenderness that I never experienced with any other aestheticism. But her prices and location were convenient, so I compromised. However, my recent visit was the final straw. For my second appointment Kaye was 10 minutes late to my appointment, as went over with the client before me. Yet, on my recent appointment I was 15 minutes late to my appointment and she charged me a $25 inconvenience fee. Keep in mind I called to let her know I was running late and when I arrived she had no appointments ahead of me. One-sided policy. Very unprofessional. -- Note the manner in which they responded to my review for an insight of their lack of professionalism (making excuses to validate their behavior/deflecting the issue as my lack of understanding).
I’ve gotten waxed by Kay before & it has been nothing but high praises each time! She has such a warm & inviting spirit about that really distracts you from the actual service ! In the blink of an eye we were finished because she was great at conversation. Definitely will be returning & advise everyone else to book at Key Essentials!
Kaye is awesome! I came for a Brazilian and full stomach wax. Prior to booking my first appointment here, I called her in the morning and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly she returned the call (within minutes). She was really patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. The day of my appointment, I actually arrived about 45 minutes before my appointment due to a personal transportation mistake on my end. Despite this, Kaye welcomed me into her center and said that we could start as soon as the wax warms up. The center itself looked nice, with two sofas, large windows, and a high ceiling. During the actual wax process, Kaye was very gentle and efficient. I was impressed by her waxing knowledge; she explained what she was using and doing without me even having to ask. She waxed my full stomach and also a Brazilian. The stomach didn't hurt at all, and the Brazilian also barely hurt at all because Kaye was careful and made sure I was ready at each step. I felt extremely comfortable with her, even though it was my first time here! I was very satisfied with the service. Kaye has a very warm and friendly personality, and it was a pleasure to go here. I highly recommend K&A for any waxing needs! Edited to add: also thank you so much to the people who reviewed K&A before me, I hadn't heard of this place until a couple of days ago and these reviews along with calling Kaye on the phone really helped me decide to go here. So glad to discover this place!
