I found Kids Read Here merely by chance, and it’s been the biggest blessing in my son’s life. Prior to enrolling in Kids Read Here, my son was at the end of 3rd grade, reading at a kindergarten level. He was attending a school for dyslexic children that was not helping him progress. I took a leap of faith and signed him up to work with them throughout the summer, both individually and in group classes. We saw so much progress and confidence in our son as he approached reading at grade level. At the end of the summer, we moved to DC and transitioned to working with Ms. Davis online, with great progress. The new school my son attends is quite rigorous, but with the online tutoring, he is keeping up with his grade level, as confirmed by his school. This place is truly God-sent. I highly recommend Kids Read Here for all your reading needs.
I love this place! My son started here at the age of 4. After working through some of the programs he is now in the advanced reader group in his kindergarten class. The teachers her displayed the nurturing spirit that I remembered growing up and so much patience. They were encouraging to both my child and me! I also love that they taught the tools to read such as phonics. Thank you so much Mrs. Davis and team!
5 stars is not high enough to rate Mrs. Davis and her staff at Kids Read Here Reading Center. Our daughter was reading below grade level when she started at Kids Read Here. Mrs. Davis said, "give me one school year with your baby and she will be at grade level." By the end of the year, not only was our daughter reading at grade level she was exceeding her testing goals at school. Thank you for your dedication, support, and guidance.
My son is 3rd grade and struggled with reading and language concepts since missing a chunk of instruction during the pandemic. He was often placed into in school intervention to help bridge the gap but it still wasn’t enough. I was referred and tried Kids Read Here. My son went from 45/F to 96/A! Not only did his classroom grade improve, his STAAR Test score improved significantly. He is more confident, he loves to read and absolutely loves to go to tutoring with Mrs. Davis. She is so much more than a tutor or specialist, she is a God send. She loves on him, allows him to be a young gentleman, she cares about his feelings and knows his mood as if he’s her own. We are very thankful that we found her. If your baby is struggling and needs that extra boost, this is the blessing you’ve been praying for because Kids truly Read Here!
If I could give 100 stars, to rate Kids Read Here, it still wouldn’t be enough! I am so thankful for Mrs Davis, and her team of AMAZING tutors. Just in the past two months, Mrs Davis has given my daughter the tools, the confidence, and the ability to read just as well as her classmates. You ladies are a Godsend, and I’m so thankful to have enrolled my girl in your program. I’m excited to see what the next few months of progress brings. I am forever thankful.
