I had a very good experience at Kiku. The atmosphere was very nice. Inside the restaurant, it was very quiet and calm. It felt very welcoming and relaxing. I liked the decorations, it felt like a real traditional Japanese place. It was good for having a nice conversation because it was not too loud. The service was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and kind. They explained the menu to us very patiently because we had some questions. They made us feel comfortable and they did not rush us. The food was amazing and very fresh. We ordered many things. The appetizers were great, especially the fried chicken (Karaage) which was crispy and hot. The beef tataki was very tender and the sauce was delicious. Also the sushi was excellent. The fish was very fresh and high quality. The unagi and tuna were my favorite. Finally, the dessert was also very beautiful. We had the mochi and the fried ice cream with strawberries. It was so good.

We’ve been loyal customers here for 35 years and it continues to stand out as the absolute best. The fish and nori are consistently top-notch and incredibly fresh. There’s always uni and toro on hand. The udon broth is wonderfully flavorful as well. There’s really nothing more you could wish for.

I traveled to Japan more than five times, and I tried sushi many times there as well. Amazing service, nice vibe. But the sushi (and food) quality is just okay compared to the price I paid for. The sushi has rice that has very great density (not too pressed) so that you can try the fish flavor well. Rice is well seasoned, and the temperature is great. However, I do not think they handle fish well to emphasize its flavor. Let me be clear: the egg sushi was terrible. Did you soak in corn syrup? It was too sweet, so my mouth was numb. Miso soup was saltier than it should be. Takoyaki is pretty good (quite large pieces of octopus). They provide actual wasabi (not the powdered mix of horse radish). The paid parking lot is right across the street, but if you are coming here only for sushi, I would not recommend. Vibe is great for business meeting, date, and family. Quiet and modernized.

This place is amazing! Very authentic and high quality Japanese cuisine. They offer a variety of dishes that I have yet to find anywhere else in the area. Who else has natto, takoyaki, and taiyaki on their menu?? Ingredients were quality. The atmosphere is cozy and the restrooms are pretty high tech compared to other places. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The experience was fantastic and this will be my new go-to for authentic cuisine.

Hard to find! Food was excellent! Not a lot of choices which make it easy to choose. Probably lacking some specialty rolls , but it could be my personal opinion. Lots of ethnic folks dining, which was a “go” for me!
