Overpriced and Extremely Disappointing Experience This salon is seriously overpriced for the quality of service provided. I’ve had perms and haircuts at many salons before, and although a friend recommended this place, everything here was far below value. I was charged $45 for a “creative cut,” but the haircut was extremely rough and careless. There was no attention to detail at all—no layering, no texturizing, no volume. The stylist’s hands were very heavy, and the whole process felt rushed, as if they were in a hurry to finish. What’s worse, the top of my hair wasn’t even cut, yet I was still charged the full “creative” price, which made absolutely no sense. As for the perm, I paid $150 for a super curly perm. I clearly showed reference photos and asked for tight curls, but the stylist used large rods instead of small ones, resulting in curls that didn’t match what I requested at all. On top of that, my hair ended up extremely dry—like a broom. The atmosphere in the salon was also very unpleasant. It felt chaotic and unhygienic, with stylists chatting and gossiping loudly while working. Overall, it was very unprofessional. Honestly, the experience felt no different from a $20 buzz-cut shop, which is unacceptable considering how much I paid. For the price and expectations set, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, or value for money.
Eason did an amazing job with my haircut — I absolutely love it. He also shared a lot of helpful knowledge about hair care and different styling techniques. I learned so many useful tips. I’m very impressed and highly recommend him! 🤩🤩
I had a haircut with Eason, and he was really nice and helpful. He listened closely to what I wanted and advised me on the most suitable style. The haircut turned out amazing, he also gave me a C-curl and provided info on how to style it. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend My wife had a shampoo and blowout done at this salon for an event today and she said she loved it so much. You can see the before and after photo looks really fresh and well done. Experience was great and so was the customer service, Tammy did an amazing job on the blowout. My wife loves it a lot, first hair experience in australia and highly recommend for anyone wanting to treat themselves before an event or just because.
I got a buzz cut at Kis Hair Salon. Kray, the handsome man who cut my hair, was my stylist. Besides the quick and effective cut, my favourite part was his service! I'm delighted with the gorgeous result! He's a perfect choice for my long-term hair consultant.
