I visited this location on a cold day for dinner with my SO. The owner greeted us with a big smile and was not afraid to speak with us about the restaurant, his story, and our story. The atmosphere of this restaurant feels foreign, and it makes you feel like you’re not in Memphis. I love the lighting and artworks for decoration. Our server was fast and tech-savvy, and we ordered the ramen set with Thai tea, Steamed Pork Bao, and Katsuobushi ramen. All of them tasted great and felt like a full dining experience. The broth actually tasted light, which tasted more authentic and less heavy on the stomach. Thai tea was great, and their taro milk for dessert was delicious. One suggestion to make the ramen more authentic and less American is the quality of Chashu, as it was not as tender and juicy - almost taste pre-made. Like traditional Tonkatsu ramen, I wonder if they prepare fresh chashu every night to serve the next morning. Another suggestion is to remove the beehive cubicles, as it is way too loud to eat in such open space with servers constantly walking up and down the stairs Overall, this place is a gem in Memphis, and I’d recommend anyone to visit here with their loved one for a good experience. This place deserves a rare 5-star review from my family.

Great vibe and the food is even better! The ramen, Thai iced tea, fried potato shrimp... was all delicious! My first time visiting and now my new favorite restaurant! I cannot recommend enough!

I absolutely love the food and atmosphere here. Service was quick and fast. You can push a button for the server's attention. Lots of anime drawings on wooden back pieces. Food was superb. The takoyaki was so delicious!

Kyuramen x Tbaar is a fantastic spot for ramen lovers! The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles have the perfect texture, and the portions are generous. The restaurant has a modern, cozy atmosphere, and the service is fast and friendly. The bubble teas from Tbaar are also amazing — fresh, not too sweet, and with lots of flavor options. It’s a great place for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Definitely one of the best ramen places in the Memphis area!

I had a great experience this evening with this super cool find of a restaurant! It was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered the sweet chili wings (not pictured), curry omurice w/ tonkatsu, spicy tonkatsu ramen and tonkatsu ramen. Really awesome vibe and different experience! Food was really delicious. I really enjoyed the sweet chili wings, especially. Staff was friendly and informative for first timers.
