Kyushu Japanese Steakhouse in Louisville is a great place to enjoy Japanese food and hibachi. I really enjoyed the food — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The hibachi experience was entertaining, and the chef did an excellent job. The restaurant is clean and well taken care of, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the visit. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good hibachi and a fun meal out.
We love the hibachi experience here. Recommend getting miso instead of chicken broth for soup. The salad dressing is some of the best we’ve had—save any leftovers for dipping vegetables. Two shrimp come w meal as an appetizer so my husband just does filet (medium rare) without the add-on. He always is very pleased with the filet. Scallops are plentiful and well caramelized. Always get two meals for the price of one because of leftovers.
My first time experience at a hibachi. The food quality and quantity were amazing. The ambience was good. Definitely a great place to visit with family and friends. There were a variety of meat options and very limited vegetarian options. I have ordered the Teppan Entree (Teriyaki Chicken) which came with a soup, salad, sautéed veggies and fried rice. Overall the atmosphere was enjoyable and I had a great experience. I would definitely go back with a bigger group this time.
Went to dinner with my hubby last night. Dinner was delicious, the service was fast & excellent! Drinks attentively filled, dishes cleared promptly...but the kicker was the sushi leftovers from my Bento Box. We had a stop to make after & it was warm this evening. I said this to Michelle our server. She said I got you & came back with a container, a bag of ice & another bag to put it all in! 🙌 Excellent!! Can't wait to return!
Pretty good hibachi for the area. The yum yum sauce is sweet and the salads are doused with ginger dressing! The main drawback is the experience isn't very consistent. I recommend getting an earlier reservation because ours was at 7:30pm and it seemed like everyone was ready to go home. The hibachi show was rushed, food overcooked, and they almost forgot the birthday celebration entirely.
