La Famiglia Winery est une exploitation familiale située dans le sous-sol d'une maison à Columbia Station, au 26095 Nichols Rd. Dirigée par un couple marié, elle offre une ambiance intime, à l'ancienne, avec des touches rustiques toscanes, un bar, des places assises, une cheminée et des toilettes. Un petit vignoble à l'arrière vient compléter les vins — des Cabernets corsés et des Pinot Grigio jusqu'au Chardonnay —, accompagnés de pâtes maison et de pizzas cuites au feu de bois ; une musique live le week-end ajoute chaleur et hospitalité.

This family-owned gem offers an authentic taste of old-world winemaking, with rich, handcrafted wines that pair perfectly with their homemade pastas and wood-fired pizzas. The rustic Tuscan ambiance—complete with vineyard views and cozy fire pits—makes every visit feel like a getaway. The owners pour their heart into every detail, from the robust Cabernets to the crisp Pinot Grigios, and their warm hospitality makes you feel like part of the family. Live music on weekends and events like grape-stomping festivals add to the charm. A must-visit for wine lovers craving tradition, flavor, and a touch of magic!

Unexpectedly lovely. This winery is in the basement of a local home near Strongsville. it is literally in a residential area. The outdoor decor is very nice, and neat as a pin. They have lights and signage to let you know you’re at the right house. They even have a small vineyard growing in the backyard.. Upon entering the door to the winery, you will find yourself in a stairwell with stairs going down to the basement. Once you’re in the basement you will immediately forget you are in a basement. It is quite a spacious and comfortable area with lots of tables and couches, a fireplace, a bar, and a bathroom. There’s even a section where they make the wine in steel barrels. It’s very cozy, charming, friendly and clean. The host/owners are extremely friendly. It seems that the owner’s family is from Northern Italy and we enjoyed talking to them. The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay. I’m a bit of a Wine snob and I typically don’t like Ohio wine. However, I was pleasantly surprised…okay…if we’re being honest…actually shocked…that all the wine we tasted was excellent. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about La Famiglia winery!
