Family celebrations at La Vecchia, a couple of weeks ago was absolutely delightful. Our visitors from the U.S., loved the ambiance, impeccable service and delicious meal. We started off with a CA P R E S E Bufala Mozzarella with a mix of fresh tomatoes, basil infused olive oil and balsamic. And some C A L A M A R I A L L A G R I G L I AMarinated grilled calamari, roasted red julienne peppers and scallions finished with a balsamic reduction. Our mains were, U N G H I D I B O S C O Herb-marinated grilled Portobello and King Oyster mushrooms set on a bed of baby arugula and radicchio topped with goat cheese and balsamic reduction, A chicken Supreme and a Diavolo pizza. For dessert we had a decadent Tiramisu and the much talked of blueberry cheesecake. Loved every bit of our lunch. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the beautiful patio.

I will certainly be visiting again! The service was excellent; visited with a friend and we both had toddlers - they were proactive in identifying what we needed. The food is affordable and wonderfully tasty! This is first restaurant I have visited in Toronto that has a family washroom where I could change my baby’s diaper. I was definitely impressed.

Visited for dinner and had a great experience! Beautifully designed restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and even the managers individually walked around and checked on tables. For the food, their burrata & octopus dishes are great appetizers. Their lamb shank main is delicious and melts in your fork. Also great cocktails! Overall great experience for a night out.

A gem on the Lakeshore. Although we went for early dinner during late fall it was still too dark to see the water. But that did not affect the experience of the restaurant. Celebrating two birthdays and we were not disappointed. Exceptional ambiance, food and service... There was aldo an old Italian black and white movie playing in the background.. What more is there to ask for? Each dish was expertly prepared. Even the simple offer of focaccia came with sundried tomatoes which were perfectly balanced and not too acidic. We also had the Burrata which was very good and the Melanza Alla Parmagiana was exquisite! For dinner the table ordered the Margherita Pizza, Agnello Al Forno (Lamb Shank), Diano Marina (Veal Scallopini) , Costine Brasate (Braised Short Rribs), Seanal Pasta Special and Tagliatelle Al Pollo (Pesto Chicken Pasta). To finish off we had the best Tiramisu we have had in a long time! Definitely will come again.

Absolutely enjoyed the experience here tonight♡ Our server Alex was amazing! I loved the ambiance; the space is beautiful, especially the bar area! Some highlights: The short ribs were fall-off-the-bone good. I loved the burrata with the roasted grapes, prosciutto, and arugula♡ The beet salad was also refreshing! My favourite go-to wine is the pinot noir from Rosehall Run :) #mustorder
