This place is really special. The building and the rooms are gorgeous. The service from all staff is incredible . Everyone is friendly, helpful and well trained on all the details. The food is exceptional and the wine selection is insane. If you want to feel like royalty, this is the place to go.
Langdon Hall is my #1 favourite venue to shoot at. As a wedding photographer at K Photo Co., I can honestly say this property is unmatched in the area. The elegance, timeless architecture, and beautifully maintained grounds create endless opportunities for stunning imagery. Every space feels intentional and refined, and the atmosphere adds such a sense of luxury and romance to a wedding day. From intimate moments to grand celebrations, Langdon Hall never fails to deliver an unforgettable experience for both couples and their guests. The food and the staff are also remarkable and I can't wait to be back.
Have dined at Langdon Hall a few times over the years, and it consistently ranks as some of the best meals I've had in the province. This recent visit was during the holiday season, and the place was decked out with festive cheer (and flowing hot cider to warm you up from the cold drive up). We decided to do their discovery lunch menu, and the definite highlights were: - Truffle Soup: One of the chef's signature dishes, and I can see why. Strong truffle taste, perfectly thick Soup. - Beef Shortrib: Tender and perfectly smoky. - Pumpkin and Oats: Strong and smooth, with a great buttery crust. Service was topnotch as usual. Ambiance was casually elegant. Prices were really reasonable, especially if you think of how much a meal like that would cost in downtown Toronto. Overall, a winner of a meal, which is part for the course at this restaurant.
Me and my husband had one of the most classic celebration and hotel experiences here! The service was outstanding, everyone work here was very welcoming, nice and thoughtful. The food was beautifully presented and with amazing well-balanced flavour, you can taste the techniques! Also loved the piano music during dinner services. They really put thoughts into decorations as well, making the entire place really festive and warm. I also love the fire place in our room, quite special. Definitely looking forward coming back here with families again during summer months to enjoy the outdoor garden.
Langdon Hall Spa is such a beautiful and peaceful escape. The property itself is stunning, and visiting during the fall made it even more magical with all the vibrant colours. The main lobby and spa are so well maintained, and the service was excellent, everyone in the spa greeted us by name and knew our treatment times, which made it feel really personalized. The massages were fantastic and incredibly relaxing. The hot tub, sauna, and steam room are all located together, it’s a bit on the smaller side, but the atmosphere was still perfect for unwinding. I also had one of the salad, which was absolutely delicious. I only wish I had more time to experience the tasting menu — it looked incredible! Can’t wait to return for another relaxing day at Langdon Hall.
