My mother and I had the absolute honor of working with Sydney and her incredible team through the planning process of our May 18th, 2025 wedding. From the initial phone call to her holding the elevator door for our send off, Sydney had a pulse on every single detail. Through some rocky turnover with hotel staff in the beginning, Sydney helped navigate each new turn with grace and a poise I haven’t seen in any event planner before. She was our constant source of calm through some relatively stressful email threads. She’s beautiful inside and out and I can confidently say that our wedding was exactly the way it was because of her and the organizational skills, attention to detail, and humor she possesses. I could not rave more about my experience working with Sydney at Laura Burchfield Events. I could list 100 reasons why it was a 5 star experience but here are some of the highlights: - I live in Boston but got married in Atlanta. Sydney was able to take away all of the stress of planning a wedding from another state. I felt as involved as I would’ve if I were living in Atlanta. - She truly understood my vision and executed. Our wedding looked exactly like our inspiration photos, but actually even better!! - She was beyond organized. I’m not exaggerating when I say that not a single thing went wrong… or if something did she handled it and I never found out about it (exactly what you want for your wedding!!!). In the wise words of one of my bridesmaids, “Sydney could run the country”. - Whether it was a lint roller, my flats to change into, or the exact shade of lipstick I happened to be wearing, Sydney has a way of magically appearing with exactly what you (or your guests) need before you even ask for it. - She is an absolute joy to be around!! You spend a lot of time with your wedding planner. From planning the event, to being right next to you throughout one of the most emotional days of your life, you’re around them A LOT!! She is a breath of fresh air to be around. Her cheerful and calm demeanor will put you at ease and most importantly you will have fun and laugh!!! - I’m extremely Type A but I spent my entire wedding weekend with the mentality of “I’m not worried about it, Sydney’s got it!!!”. I wandered around without a care in the world - that’s how you know she’s good!!! If you can’t tell, I miss working with her already! 10/10 recommend!!!!
