I left an emotionally abusive marriage with nothing. The most important thing for me in my case was the custody of my children. We had our first hearing in June of 2018 during which Ekaterina helped me secure a favorable support order that made it possible for my children and me to finally find a stable home. When there was a delay on the part of my ex-husband's employer in implementing the wage garnishment for support, Ekaterina tracked down the payroll department manager who processed the wage garnishment. In July of 2018 we had another hearing and an emergency screening at the court, after which the judge granted me legal and physical custody of my children. I am thankful that my children and I now have a stable home and we are moving on with our lives. My ex-husband is now being held accountable for fulfilling his obligation to support our children. My case had it all: restraining orders, an emergency screening, enforcement of support orders, and appeals. The most challenging part was the obstreperous opposing party, and Ekaterina deals with him with grace and toughness when appropriate. I observed that Ekaterina has the intelligence and tenacity to handle any challenge that came our way. I would not be able to go through such an emotional and time consuming process without a professional like Ekaterina who fought for me and for my children and won.
