I really loved the chocolate quality—it was truly amazing. However, my experience was ruined by the salesperson named Aramis, who was very rude and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was honestly upset and almost decided not to buy anything, but I tried to ignore it because the chocolate itself was so good. When I reached the cashier and calmly expressed how I felt, she completely ignored my concern and just said “okay” without any acknowledgment or apology. That made the situation even worse. In the end, I chose not to purchase the chocolate at all. This kind of behavior is very bad for business, especially after reading other reviews mentioning similar issues. If Läderach wants happy, paying customers, staff behavior and customer service need serious improvement. No customer should be treated this way.

I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Celina and Briana, and I must say, their service was outstanding. Both went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. What stood out the most was their genuine kindness and willingness to help with a smile. They were patient, attentive, and made me feel valued as a customer. It's rare to encounter such dedicated individuals who clearly take pride in their work. Because of Celina and Briana, I'll definitely be back!

I love Läderach chocolate, but the service really disappointed me. I visited around 7:00 p.m. and asked the lady for a recommendation for dark chocolate. She simply pointed at a few chocolates and said, “This, this,” with a very irritated expression. While I was still choosing, she kept asking, “That’s it? That’s it?” I couldn’t tell if they didn’t want me to buy more or just wanted me to leave. When I asked for a large chocolate bar, she said it was limited, didn’t offer any alternatives, and then asked, “That’s it?” again. I heard that three times. If you expect customers to spend $50 or more on chocolate, you should provide better service. If you’re in the Houston area, I recommend visiting the Läderach store at the Premium Outlets—they offer much better service.

I have never been treated with disrespect every time we come by the store. Me and my husband always come by and buy the strawberry chocolate. And try the limited edition pieces. This time we were denied from the limited edition chocolate because “it was the last piece” and for the asian girl to raise her voice and tell us no was rude I wish i would’ve caught her name. I enjoyed going every weekend but now because of that interaction I’m getting second thoughts to ever return. Oct.12th at around 6:40PM. Update i did send this review to the email the same day this all happened. Hope to hear back soon.

The girl at the door giving away samples looked like she really didn't want to be there, and the sample was too sweet for me - I prefer the dark or fruity type. The other two guys working by the store window were super sweet and kind, especially the more chatty one! My pictures are not the best representation of what this store offers, but I really love these two chocolate barks (~$15 each). I don't think you can find these anywhere else, so I'm definitely coming back for more. The chocolate bark in my pics using flowers as an ingredient has a small crunch to it, and I especially adore that one.
