Update: Hi, thanks for the reply. For clarity, I left a voicemail and followed up by email after reviewing your website and signing the waiver, as I still had questions that required a human response. Being open 7 days a week, with no listed office hours or response-time expectations on your website, it’s reasonable for a prospective parent to expect some acknowledgment, especially when it comes to children’s programming. A simple “we received your message and will respond within X days” would have gone a long way. Instead, multiple attempts went unanswered. Unfortunately, this public response, rather than addressing the lack of communication, makes the experience feel even more unwelcoming. As a parent, that further erodes confidence. Communication and responsiveness matter, particularly when trust and child safety are involved. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future families. After seeing a very enticing add for childrens boxing, I looked at their website and decided to call as I am interested in having my little tryout. I left a clear vm with my name and number to call me back on. Then I went on the website and figured out my answers to trial classes, however, still had a couple lingering questions that a human can answer so I emailed them as well, even after signing a waiver. Since then, no one has gotten back to me. It sets a very unwelcoming tone to curious, first time potential customers. This is a shame because the location is so close to home. If I'm not confident as a parent to bring my child here, there's no point. A simple email or phone response isn't too much to ask for.
Brought my 7 yr old for a trial. Shout out to Aiden for helping my son not get discouraged. He spent quite a bit of one-on-one time with him during the session to help my son Ben get adjusted and not feel like he was less advanced than the other kids. Aiden then spent 15 minutes with him afterwards, in the boxing ring, giving him some great advice. We'll definitely be back.
I've been going to the beginner classes at Legacy Boxing with coach Elina, and she’s honestly the best! She explains everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way and shows exactly how to throw each punch properly. She somehow manages to pay attention to everyone in class and keeps us all focused — no slacking here! If you’ve got a teenager who needs some structure (or if you do!), Elina will absolutely keep them in line — in the best way possible. 🥊
This is an amazing club. Membership allows you to attend as many classes as you like and the cost is reasonable. Instructors are very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. There are classes for everyone and every level. My whole family goes there.
I have been training with Mike for two months now. Honestly I look forward to every session, my boxing skills have improved more in 2 months than in the last three years in group classes. I am gaining confidence in my skills and getting stronger. I love learning combos and pad training is amazing. Mike comes with a plan and structure and even though I know what to expect he makes every session a unique and hard workout. I'm so grateful to be training with Mike, and recommend him to anyone looking to improve their boxing skills or just get into the ring for the first time.
