Legacy Iron is THE place to get tattooed in the Greensboro area. I’ve had the pleasure of going to them since 2018 and their work just keeps getting better and better. Jave is my current artist and he is always kind and ready to delve into that next project with me! Booking with Jave, David or Rook will not disappoint! If you want to feel comfortable whether it’s your first or tenth tattoo, walk in or call and you will be happy I sent you!
Popped into LIT after a pretty bad experience at another tattoo shop to not only vent but get some advice on what to do next. Mitchell greeted me and definitely helped cool me off a bit and recommended I work with Jimmy. Just finished up with a session with Jimmy yesterday and it was such a good experience. I could tell he's not only experienced but has the artistic vision that I was hoping to find. Can't wait to get back in and get more work done!
Rook`s tattoos watered my crops and healed my soul. I was nervous about going to a trad shop. When I tell you this dude blew me out of the water! He was so chill and light handed I almost fell asleep during my tattoo. He made my design on the spot and fit it in perfectly with my other work. His line work? Impeccable. His shading? Flawless. His eye for detail? Unmatched. His prices? Hella afforable. The guy has literally spoiled me so much it's hard to go anywhere else! AND he's good at both black/gray AND color! Been getting tattoos here on and off for about two years, including my first. I’ve recommended this shop to every friend of mine who has interests in getting tattooed, no bs straight to it and everyone is super chill/down to earth, never have I ever been getting work done here and ever felt pressured or “uncomfortable”. Good dudes in this establishment, feels like your just hanging out with some friends. John (Rook) is an absolute professional and has done almost every single one of my tattoos and they’ve all turned out perfect, super good guy and is great at what he does. I’ve been getting tattoos by John and Dee for about a year now, hands down best tattoo shop in the triad. Super friendly and welcoming staff and the prices for the work is amazing. Quality work that will hold up over the years especially if you’re looking for traditional tattoos. 11/10 would recommend this shop to everyone!
